Maasai Mara National Reserve - 3 DAYS MASAI MARA SAFARI (JOINING SAFARI)

The Masai Mara National Reserve, often called The Mara, is where Federico Veronesi has dedicated much of the past six years. It is renowned for its exceptional photographic opportunities, both in Africa and globally. As part of the Greater Serengeti Ecosystem, it hosts the renowned Wildebeest migration from July to October. The reserve covers 1,510 square kilometers and is situated at an elevation of 1,500 meters above sea level, featuring diverse habitats and environments.

On the first day, the journey begins from Nairobi at 07:00hrs, heading south along the Great Rift Valley floor, past Narok, and ascending the western wall into Hemingway’s country, the “Serengeti plains.” Arrival at the camp is scheduled for lunchtime, followed by check-in, lunch, and an enjoyable evening game drive in this famous reserve. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Lenchada Tourist Camp.

Maasai Mara Full Day Game Drive

Maasai Mara National Reserve - An early morning balloon safari is available as an option at USD 450 per person. The balloon launches at 06:00hrs and lasts for one hour. Upon landing, guests are treated to a champagne bush breakfast.

The full-day game viewing begins after breakfast, with a picnic lunch. The Mara is a land of African legend, abundant with lions, elephants, giraffes, various gazelle species, and zebras. Cheetahs and leopards are frequently spotted, while rhinos are less common. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature’s few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September, with large animals and their predators present in abundance during this period.

This is a perfect opportunity to observe wildlife and capture memorable photos and videos. During the day, the guide will find a picnic spot within the park for lunch. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your camp.

Maasai Mara-Nairobi

Maasai Mara National Reserve - On the final day, enjoy breakfast and relax at the camp before checking out by 10:00hrs to depart for Nairobi. A stopover at Narok Town allows for browsing the lively Masai markets for curios and handicrafts, as well as having lunch. The journey concludes with a drop-off in Nairobi.
