Nairobi - Masai Mara

Nairobi National Park - Begin your journey with a pick-up from either the airport or your hotel in Nairobi at 7:30 am. After a brief orientation and completing all formalities, depart for Masai Mara (260 km) via the viewpoint of the western Great Rift Valley.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Continue your journey into the Masai plains, arriving for check-in and lunch at the camp/lodge by 2:00 pm. Embark on your first game drive at 4:00 pm, tracking various animal species and birds that inhabit the area. Your guide will help spot wildlife and explain their behaviors and lifestyles. Return to the camp/lodge by 6:30 pm for a hot shower, dinner, and overnight stay.

Masai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Start your day with breakfast at the camp/lodge and depart for an extensive game drive by 7:00 am. Today, aim to see all the Big 5 (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant). The landscape features scenic savannah grasslands on rolling hills. The reserve is Kenya’s best park for game viewing, thanks to its extensive road and track network that allows for excellent viewing and photography opportunities. Return to the camp/lodge for a hot shower, dinner, and overnight stay.

Mara River - Take a game drive to the Mara River, a key migration point and a spot to see crocodiles and hippopotamuses, as emphasized by our guides.

Masai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Explore Masai Mara from a bird’s eye view. Pick-up for this activity is at 5:30 am from your camp/lodge. The cost is 425 USD per person, and the ride lasts 1 hour. After the ride, your guide will meet you to continue the game drive in the park.

Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha (optional) - Nairobi

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Have an early breakfast and check out from the camp/lodge by 7:00 am, enjoying a game drive en route as you exit the park (if you stayed inside the park). Lunch will be served in Narok town at 12:00 pm, where you can also buy some souvenirs to remember your wonderful holiday in Mara. You will then be dropped off at the airport or your hotel/accommodation in Nairobi.

Lake Naivasha - Optionally, visit Lake Naivasha at 3:30 pm on your way back to Nairobi. The boat ride usually lasts 1 hour but can be extended if you decide to walk on Crescent Island. Note that gratuities for the boat drivers are around 25 USD per person.

Crescent Island Game Park - Optionally, take a walk on Crescent Island during your boat ride at Lake Naivasha. Note that gratuities for the boat drivers are around 30 USD per person.
