Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - At 8:00 a.m., guests will be picked up from their Nairobi hotel to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. The drive includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for 10-15 minutes to enjoy the scenery. Lunch will be served at the lodge in Maasai Mara. In the afternoon, after checking in, guests will depart for a sunset game drive in the Mara Reserve from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Maasai Mara Full Day

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Around 7:00 a.m., after breakfast, guests will embark on a full day of exploration in Maasai Mara, seeking the Big Five. A picnic lunch will be provided in the park. Visitors will witness the site of the annual wildebeest migration and observe resident crocodiles and hippos along the Mara River banks. The Mara is renowned for the spectacular natural event of the great migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebra migrate from the Serengeti in Tanzania in search of water and pasture, followed by savanna predators like lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Alternatively, upon request, a buffet lunch can be arranged at Ashnil Mara or Keekorok.

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru - After an early breakfast, guests will check out and drive to Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch. An optional evening game drive in Lake Nakuru is available.

Lake Nakuru to Hell’s Gate and Lake Naivasha

Hell’s Gate National Park - After an early breakfast, guests will depart at 7:00 a.m. for the park. This small park is home to magnificent, rare white rhinos, part of the Big Five, and possibly pink flamingos. The game drive lasts three hours, followed by a one-hour drive back to Naivasha for lunch at the hotel. After lunch, guests can enjoy a biking safari in Hell’s Gate or a drive through the park if preferred. Later, an hour-long boat ride on Lake Naivasha offers bird watching and hippo viewing.

Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park - After an early breakfast and check-out at 6:45 a.m., guests will drive to Amboseli National Park, known for its stunning scenery with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. After checking in and having lunch at the Safari camp, guests can rest briefly before a late afternoon game drive to see popular residents like predators, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos, all with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Full Day Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park - An early morning game drive is followed by breakfast at the lodge. The day is spent in the park with a packed lunch, searching for popular residents like predators, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos, with views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Alternatively, a pre-arranged lunch can be enjoyed at Oltukai Lodge or a similar venue.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Amboseli National Park - After an early breakfast, guests will check out and enjoy a short game drive en route out of Amboseli, then drive to Nairobi. Upon arrival, guests will be dropped off at their hotel or the airport.
