Top rated tour operator with expert guide John! - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Safari Experience with Guide John! Our Jungle Roam Safari was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and the real highlight of the trip was our tour guide, John. His deep knowledge of the local wildlife, keen eye for spotting animals, and friendly, professional demeanor made the entire experience both educational and exciting. John went out of his way to ensure we had the best views and photo opportunities, while also keeping everyone safe and comfortable throughout the journey. His passion for nature is infectious, and he shared fascinating facts about the animals and ecosystem that really enriched the tour. We saw elephants, lions, giraffes, and so much more—all in their natural habitat. The memories we made on this safari will stay with us forever. If you're planning a safari adventure, I highly recommend Jungle Roam Safari—and definitely ask for John as your guide!

Incredible safari experience as solo traveller - Jungleroam made my solo traveller safari experience smooth and comfortable from start to finish. Good communications with the office and our guide James was awesome. I was looking for an easy, 3 day budget but comfortable and safe experience with lots of animal sightings. My expectations were exceeded! We were in a tented camp with a comfy bed, mozzy net and built in private washroom. The food was fresh, catered for gluten free needs and staff really friendly. There were other options for higher end accommodation but I was more than happy sleeping in the nature. More importantly we saw LOADS of animals!

Great value for money! - I thoroughly enjoyed the safari, great value for money. Our driver was Solomon (he's a contractor for the agency), a great guide and guy. I felt he was going the extra mile so that we will have a good experience and I feel I got way more than I was expecting which is always a good feeling to have. The camping, Sankale Mara Camp, was great as well (at this price) with clean accommodation (tents with bathroom and shower) and good prices for drinks (no wifi tho, I had an eSIM anyway, and limited electricity, but enough to charge devices). Better to pay cash for the tour, to avoid the card surcharge: there's an ATM across the road from the agency (they took me there) which didn't charge me any fee. Although I'm not a big fan of tipping I was happy to give at the end as I was both satisfied with the service and mindful that more than half of what I paid for the tour went to park fees. Unless you are a big animals buff, 3d2n tours are enough for Maasai Mara.

Amazing safari experience - The experience was truly amazing. It was like I imagined and planned. Our driver, Solomon Asante Sana is an amazing guide. He knows so much about Masai Mara. I learned a lot in my days in the park. A friend suggested me this company and I happy I followed his tip.

Better than anything I imagined! - Given all the tour operators it's hard to choose. If I had a tip go with Jungleroam Safari for any safari and ask Steve (or simpleboy) as your driver you won't be disappointed! Quality ratio could not be better. I did 3 days in Masai Mara, including 2 days in the park. Our driver brought us to the right place at the right time. We could see as many animals as possible it was beautiful. Steve was great, sociable, interesting and attentive. Level drive nothing to say. For housing, I was at Lenchada camp, I recommend. Nice little camp in the middle of nature. Just the right thing for comfort. Staff with little care, very nice. The food was simple and good, accessible to everyone, with some Kenyan discoveries! Campfire in the evening allowing to share (or not) moments with other adventurers. On the way back, I chose to visit Masai village. I don't understand people's views on this. So yes, it's all programmed, welcome, dances, jumps etc... But I took it as a desire to share their tradition-filled lifestyle. It was beautiful and interesting. And yes, you will have the right throughout the stay to sell Masai items. As soon as there is tourism, there is business, it is normal everyone does the same, how to blame them. And then you wouldn't escape it, if you're not interested, you just don't buy.

A pleasant experience ✨ - This experience is worth it. Starting with the guide Salomon, who did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and with his advice and knowledge showed us the best side of Masai Mara ( from the first moment he showed us that he knows what he is doing). We saw and contemplated many animals and nature. The food and the kindness at the hotel raised my expectations. Without a doubt, if I have to go back I would choose the same hotel and the Safari with Salomon. The best price we found and the best experience.

Excellent value, mixed feelings - Booked 3-day Masai Mara tour with JungleRoam, stayed at Sankale Camp. Saw a load of animals, but there are some downsides. Pros: • Value for price is excellent. • Our driver James was very experienced (over 20 years) and had a great network with other drivers, so he knew where the animals were. He spotted a rhino in the afternoon when we were all asleep! • Chesi works incredibly hard and will support you through your booking with everything. • Staff at Sankale Camp is so friendly. They taught me some Kikuyu and Masai words, and I was able to take a walk in the valley with a guide. • Masai Mara is gorgeous. • We saw everything: lion, rhino, giraffe, cheetah, elephant, hippo, alligator, antelope, Impala, warthogs, baboons, monkeys, EVERYTHING. Cons: • Shower wasn't actually warm, but tbh I didn't expect that. • Driver James was not always communicative about what was happening. But if I asked him, he explained anything I wanted to know. Important notes: • Almost all Masai Mara tour operators drive aggressively close to animals (off-road) if rangers are not around. If you are into animal welfare, consider volunteering at a conservancy instead. Or hire a private safari and bring a telephoto lens. • I believe Jocky tours, Jungle Roam, and Sunnycreek are all part of the same company. You will probably share a Jeep with people from another operator.
