Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Masai Mara National Reserve - The Driver-Guide will arrive at the hotel to commence the safari to Masai Mara, departing between 7:30 am and 8:00 am. Enjoy a scenic drive descending the Great Rift Valley en route to Maasai Mara, Kenya’s renowned game reserve. (Drive time is approximately 5.5 hours). Take a moment to stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to admire the breathtaking views of the world’s largest valley, which is said to be visible from space. Arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch at the lodge or camp. The afternoon game drive at 3:30 pm offers the opportunity to observe the park’s magnificent wildlife, including the Big Cats such as Lions, Leopards, and Cheetahs, as well as Rhinos, Elephants, and Wildebeests. Return to the hotel or camp in the late evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day in Masai Mara

Masai Mara National Reserve - Rise early in the morning to prepare for an early morning game drive, where the Big Five animals can be encountered. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at Mara River, home to resident Hippos and Nile crocodiles all year round. Few places boast a higher concentration of wildlife than the Masai Mara, and sightings of the Big Five are almost guaranteed on any trip. Later in the evening, a short game drive will be taken as the group returns to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

Masai Mara National Reserve - After a leisurely breakfast and check-out, depart for the return road transfer to Nairobi. During the drive back, there will be an opportunity for an optional visit to a Masai Village. A stopover for lunch (at personal expense) will be made as the journey approaches Nairobi City for drop-off.
