Nairobi to Masai Mara

Masai Mara National Reserve - Guests will be collected by our driver/guide and set off for the Masai Mara game reserve.

There will be a brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to capture photos of the escarpment before continuing to Masai Mara. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and then embark on a game drive in this world-renowned reserve, featuring expansive savannahs, rolling hills, and riverine forests, with large grazing herds, abundant birdlife, and Africa’s largest lion population.

Maasai Mara Full Day

Masai Mara National Reserve - Start the day with an early breakfast followed by a full-day game drive in the reserve. As the rains rejuvenate the grasslands of Masai Mara, the vast plains echo with the thunder of 1.5 million wildebeest migrating north from the Serengeti into Masai Mara.

The great migration is an awe-inspiring spectacle, one of the world’s most remarkable events, driven by the raw forces of nature. Visitors will also enjoy the high concentration of wildlife, including black-maned lions, herds of topi, roan antelope, cheetahs, common zebras, and Coke’s hartebeest, though spotting leopards and rhinos requires some luck. An optional balloon safari is available at USD 450 per person.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru National Park - After breakfast, depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park. An optional visit to a Masai village is available at USD 20 per person. The lake is a stunning sea of pink, surrounded by forests and plains that are home to lions, rhinos, leopards, and large herds of waterbuck. Due to a late arrival in Nakuru, there will be no game drive on this day. Check-in at the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru to Amboseli

Amboseli National Park - After breakfast, enjoy a morning game viewing session, then leave Lake Nakuru for Nairobi for lunch before driving to Amboseli, arriving in time to witness the sunset.

Amboseli Full Day

Amboseli National Park - Spend the day on game drives in this park, where dust devils swirl at the edges, but at its heart lies a remarkable swamp teeming with elephants and hippos.

A visit to the observation hill will follow, offering views of the glistening, majestic snowcap of Mt Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli is renowned for its big game, particularly elephants, which are the most studied in the world. It is located alongside the world-famous Masai culture. Enjoy lunch and a leisure break at the Lodge in the mid-afternoon before heading back into the wild for an afternoon game drive.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Nairobi - After breakfast, embark on your final game drive before departing for Nairobi after an early lunch, arriving in the evening.

This is the most popular tour as it guarantees encounters with the big five in three significant parks: Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli. While at Lake Nakuru, there’s a chance to spot flamingos and at Amboseli National Park, you’ll also appreciate the view of Mt Kilimanjaro.
