At 9:00 am, arrive at the Maasai Mara, where game drives commence at the Sekenani Gate, continuing to the Maasai Mara River. The Maasai Mara Reserve is Kenya’s most popular tourist destination, renowned for the annual wildebeest migration, which sees over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and leaving in November. Visitors are almost guaranteed to see the Big Five. At 1:00 pm, enjoy a packed picnic lunch under the shade of a tree, overlooking the park’s vast landscape. Alternatively, upon request, a buffet lunch can be reserved at Keekorok Lodge for an additional $25 per person. At 2:30 pm, embark on a short early afternoon game viewing drive as you exit the park.
