The climbing season runs from July 14 to September 10.
Note: During the hiking season, access to the 5th Station is restricted. Visitors must take a shuttle bus, costing 3000¥ per person, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes for a round trip.

Lake Kawaguchiko - Lake Kawaguchiko is a stunning lake and serves as the gateway to the Fuji Five Lakes area. Visitors can enjoy a ship cruise or take a ropeway cable car to Kachi Kachi Mountain. On clear days, it offers a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji.

Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine - This shrine is believed to have originated in 100 A.D. with a small shrine built to commemorate Prince Yamato Takeru-no Mikoto’s visit. In 788, an altar was established to enshrine the Sengen God, aiming to prevent Mt. Fuji’s eruptions.
Mt. Fuji has been revered since ancient times, and with the rise of mountain worship, it became a site for ascetic training. The shrine became a focal point for Mt. Fuji worship, especially during the Edo era when “Fuji-ko” worship gained popularity. In 2013, it was designated as part of the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Site.

Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nemba - Iyashi no Sato (いやしの里) is situated on the site of a former farming village on Lake Saiko’s western shores. Destroyed by a landslide during a 1966 typhoon, the village was reconstructed 40 years later as an open-air museum and traditional craft village. Visitors can explore the culture and purchase local handicrafts.
The village comprises over twenty houses converted into shops, restaurants, museums, and galleries. Each shop specializes in a traditional craft, such as pottery, incense, or weaving. Some shops offer hands-on workshops, like making incense bags or owl figurines. Activities cost between 600-1100 yen and do not require advance reservations.
