Fabulous outing for a family - I recently took my kids to Da Pig Beach at Rose Island and we had a blast. We were picked up at the Grand Hyatt. Pickup was seamless and incredibly punctual. the bus for transit was spotless and seemed brand new with perfectly functioning air conditioning. After stopping at Margaritaville and the cruise ship terminal, we made our way to the launching point for the boat where there is a clean and spacious bathroom. We enjoyed the boat ride for about 25 minutes out to Rose Island. The gorgeous blue caribbean and tiny islands on the way were perfect scenery. On arrival to Rose Island we played on the beach, climbed to the lookout, and enjoyed swimming with the pigs. The pigs were adorable and great swimmers. The staff did a good job giving instructions on how to feed the pigs and avoid getting stepped on (stay deeper in the water). After feeding them we were able to line up and take pictures with a baby. Then we had free time to swim, hang out, and eat at the included lunch buffet. Then we loaded up the boat and headed back, stopping at the turtle sanctuary to spot some turtles from the boat and driving by Gilligan's Island. Overall this was a great excursion and I would absolutely do it again.

10/10 Would Book Again!! - Da Pig Beach Nassau provided an amazing experience for my family of 7! They were very communicative from start to finish. They picked us up at the port and drove us and several other customers in an air-conditioned passenger van to the pier where we boarded a covered boat for a 30 minute ride out to Rose Island. Once on Rose Island, we had about 40-60 minutes to chill at the beach while we waited for our group’s turn to meet the pigs. There was plenty of lounge areas in the shade and the water was nice a calm and clear. There were restrooms and a bar close by. Before careful - there were rocks on parts of the beach, but not a problem if you watch where you step. Before the pigs came out, we received a safety brief (don’t pet their faces) and we were given skewers to put apples to hold out to feed the pigs. There are some big piggies (Panda is about 700lbs they said!!) and they like to swim around people in search of apples. At the end, they brought out a piglet to hold for pictures. Afterwards, we washed our hands & had lunch. The food was delicious! There was a variety of stuff like hamburgers, fries, chicken wings, rice & peas, and salad. A soft drink was included. We had about another 40-60 minutes to digest & relax before boarding the ship back to Nassau. On the way back, Tio, the boat captain, stopped to show us a spot where sea turtles like to stay nearby to nest. We saw a giant sea turtle next to the boat! Then, we drove by the island where a few episodes of Gilligan’s Island was filmed. We then docked, then took a short bus ride back to the port. 10/10 I would book again! Everyone in my group loved this experience!!

Worth the price - We had an awesome experience feeding the pigs and hanging out on the beach. The meal was delicious and the vegetarian option was very tasty! The crew did an excellent job keeping us entertained and showing us sites along the way back to the island. Pick up from our hotel made for a convenient journey.

Great experience, good food, fun time - You'll get picked up either at the cruise port or your resort in their van, it was a little packed but the driver and staff were safe and professional. Expect to get wet on the boat ride to/from. Will admit, there were some disconcerting issues with the boat - they have different safety standards so be aware. The canopy screws were coming out and bouncing pretty bad in the waves. Anyways, the island is beautiful, advise you to walk up to the lookout before the pigs. There are a bunch of chaises, seats, and hammocks. You get a cup of food and the pigs are great. The lunch was chicken, rice and beans, plantains and was delicious. The staff were great all around.

Great interactive experience with the Swimming Pigs and great white sandy beaches - I kind of underestimated this tour but I was totally wrong. Besides the Swimming Pigs experience, Rose Island has nice white sandy beaches and pristine water. My family really enjoyed this tour. As for the Swimming Pigs, the experience was highly interactive. So, I would recommend this tour to anyone in a heartbeat.

Staff was great! Lauren... - Staff was great! Lauren was at the pier to meet us and took us to a van to get to another dock. We boarded a boat with other guests and traveled about 30 minutes to Rose island. The beach was beautiful! Pigs are well maintained and feeding them was a blast for the kids! Food and drinks were good. We felt like we had plenty of time here.

It was a great day - It was a great day. We got a nice amount of time with the pigs. The pigs came out to where we were, and we fed them apples on skewers. The staff brought out more apple pieces later and then we all got a chance to hold a baby pig for pictures. Other groups had small babies, but our “baby” pig was rather large. After the pigs, we ate a Bahamian lunch and then had time to just relax in the ocean. The boat ride there and back was nice and not too long. The ocean is beautiful and all the Da Pig Beach Staff were great. I highly recommend this activity.

Disappointed - The pick up was on time, the boat ride was smooth, the lunch was very good, the beach is lovely with crystal clear waters but the pig experience was disappointing as at the end when you get to hold the baby big you can tell she wasn’t happy and crying! I hope the poor pigs are kept well and not mistreated. I wouldn’t do it again

Fun trip - The crew were great! The island was nice and the boat ride was really nice. The pig encounter was nice but not exactly what we expected. We were expecting the pigs to be feral not kept in cages and let loose at different intervals. I guess that was our bad.
