• Christ Church Cathedral - The original building on this site was constructed by the Lord Proprietors in 1670, marking it as the first church built in The Islands Of The Bahamas. The current structure, erected in 1841, is the fifth church to occupy this location. In 1861, Nassau became a city, and Christ Church was designated a Cathedral, marking a historic milestone for the islands.
• Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Bahamas - Featuring a suspended airplane, pool bar, and an outdoor deck with lively staff, Margaritaville is more than just a restaurant—it’s a state of mind. • Fort Charlotte - If time allows for only one fort visit, choose Fort Charlotte, the largest on New Providence, spanning 100 acres. Situated one mile west of downtown Nassau, just off West Bay Street, it sits on a hill overlooking the far west end of the harbor, offering a stunning view of Paradise Island, Nassau, and the harbor.

Every Wednesday and Friday, starting at 11:30 a.m., a living historical scene allows visitors to step back in time and experience daily life in 18th-century Nassau. It features characters in period costumes demonstrating basket weaving techniques, kitchen utensils from over 250 years ago, and fruits sold at the market. The event concludes with the firing of the cannon at 12:00 noon.
