Great, affordable tour. - The boat picks you up outside of the Cruise Terminal. The ferry goes on to a few more pick ups. The total time to arrive on Rose Island is about one hour. The trip is worth every dollar. The pigs are adorable and the staff is friendly..There is food and beverage available for purchase. Alot of fun!

Great excursion booked online - We loved it. The price is competitive, hiring you there in Bahamas is much more expensive. Thank God I found this page. We could enjoy a good excursion, the island is very nice and we enjoyed the boat ride very much at a reasonable price. It's better that way and then tip there. The staff was very friendly. We were taken off the boat at another location closer to our hotel to do us the favor. I recommend this tour.

I did this tour off of a... - I did this tour off of a cruise ship. A company representative met me and the others on the pier before exiting the marina which made the pick up experience simple even if we did have to wait about 30 minutes for the boat to be sequenced and load passengers. The boat itself was adequate and safe but certainly not luxurious, think of covered bleacher style seating. We made 2 additional quick stops to pick up addition passengers along the way. The ride was scenic and in total took about 45 minutes to get to the beach where the pigs and bar are located. The bar was a nice facility and has free WiFi. Expect “beach prices” of nearly $25 for a lunch and $10 for a beer. They ask the participants to come into the water and provide free carrots to feed the pigs. There is plenty of opportunity to be with the pigs. Afterwards, we had a few hours for lunch and to enjoy the beach and water sports. Returning to the marina was done in the reverse order and the guides pointed out some of the famous houses along the way. We arrived back at the port at approximately 3:15. Overall, I enjoyed the trip and found it to be a fair price vs cruise ship pricing.

Piglets, crystal clear sea and relaxation: a pleasant experience - I arrived by cruise ship; their boat departs directly from the port, which is quite small. They don't have a proper cage like other Tuor, so I recommend asking the locals where they are. We found them just under the bus shelter to get out of the harbor. They're still well organized.
As soon as you arrive on the island there is a kiosk, you leave your towel on the deckchair (free) and you immediately go to the beach. A glass with carrots is provided to give to the piglets (which I thought were in the wild). Soon after, they free them from the enclosure and run towards the tourists to eat.
The experience with the piglets lasts about 15 minutes, then you have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the sea, which is really beautiful. A ticket is also given for a drink to be picked up at the kiosk, well stocked and equipped with bath and shower. I also saw some people taste typical dishes.
The cost is not exactly cheap, but the place is very nice, the sea deserves and the staff is friendly. Overall, a positive experience.

The pigs were lovely! But……… - Like other reviewers have already noted, this isn’t a “swimming” with pigs experience. It’s a “feed pigs some carrots and apples in waist high water” experience so just be sure to set your expectations. Nonetheless, hanging out with the pigs was great!! They were very friendly. The only setback to the overall experience was that there was completely no direction from the guides on timeline for the day. We weren’t sure how long the boat ride was going to be, how long we got to hang out with the pigs and what time we were supposed to leave the island. We ended up not getting food/drinks from the restaurant on the island because we weren’t sure of timing.

The pigs live in small stalls and are exploited for people's entertainment. - If you love pigs, Do Not Go!!!
The pigs live in small stalls on concrete floors and are only taken out of the pens for groups to take pictures. The baby pigs live separately from the others and are held in people's arms for photos even though they are visibly uncomfortable.
It seems that the pigs are not well cared for, but only brought to the islands for the amusement of the people.
It's like being in a zoo…
If you care about animals, don't do this tour.
I wish I had known this beforehand.
