Zona Arqueologica de Cantona - Defensive architectural site. Meaning this site is laid uphill for militaristic purposes. In other words this is a mild hike up squares, pyramidal basements, walls, ball games and avenues with a great view to the volcanic landscape
Fortaleza San Juan de Ulua - Defensive colonial fortress built to with stand piracy. Visit its several surviving “ Baluartes (defensive towers” , armory, weapons and military technology in a colonial museographic display.
Veracruz - Lay over .
La Venta - Villahermosa Tabasco
Zona Arqueologica La Venta - Olmec archaelogical zone featuring pyramidal platforms, tablet stones, Olmec scultural Heads, Olmec art in general in a setting nature seems almost ready to recover. Be ready with mosquitoe repelent .
Yumka - Ecological reserve section based within the Villahermosa city. basically this is a local zoo wherein we will interact wityh some species that move around freely within and without it next to endangered ones such as black pumas .
Villahermosa - Lay over .
Palenque Palenque Chiapas.
Zona Arqueologica de Palenque - One of the most celebrated ancient cities in the world. Visit the Tomb of the read Queen as well as the Pakal Sarcophagus , astronomically oriented squares such as “La Cruz Foliada” , Acropolis , and Tables stones .
Palenque - lay over.
Either flight back to Mexico city or drive back. Driva back can take up to two days.
Mexico City - Flight back recommended since drive can take up to 20 hours and need be covered in two days while costs while thus hardly vary much.

Day 1: The first stop is Puebla, following visits to the Cacaxtla and Cholula archaeological sites.
Day 2: Stay overnight in Veracruz after exploring Cantona and, if time permits, the San Juan de Ulua fortress.
Day 3: Overnight in Villahermosa…

Day 2: Stay overnight in Veracruz after exploring Cantona and, if time permits, the San Juan de Ulua fortress.
Day 3: Overnight in Villahermosa after visiting La Venta and the Yamka Ecological Reserve within the city.
Day 4: Stay in Palenque, Chiapas, which serves as both an overnight stop and an archaeological site visit.
Day 5: It is recommended to fly back to Mexico City or Cancún, or alternatively, drive back, which may take up to two days.
