Best experience in Fiji - This was the best experience I had out of all the excursions in Fiji. William and his family host the best and most complete experience you’ll have in Fiji. The guides are amazing, caring, and go out of their way to ensure you’re safe and have a good time. They won’t just hold you to the side if you’re sacred but will take time personally to take you through the excursion. You’ll start by going up the River with beautiful views, walk through a real village and meet the beautiful locals, (bring candy and snacks to share with them). Then you’ll enjoy a nice bbq, then you’ll tube down the River. The most amazing part was hearing them sing their native songs. It echoed in the valleys and was a surreal moment. When you return, the family will welcome you with snacks and tea. This family takes care of the land and its people. I met the owner William personally, and just like any other native you’ll meet, he’s down to Earth and in touch with Fiji and its people and purpose. DONT SKIP THIS EXCURSION!

Highly recommend the tubing version of this tour. - Solo and the rest of the team made this a wonderful day. Solo has a fun personality that made a good tour great. The scenery was wonderful as we journeyed up and down the river.

Best river tubing in Fiji - It was the best day on our trip! I read all reviews before I book a excursion and this excursion had no bad reviews now I understand why!! The family as they call them selves really to care of everything and everyone!! We had a elderly couple with us and they didn’t know how to swim but that was not a issue. Winnnie took such great care of them on the water and walking up to the waterfall it was a incredible experience for them!! This couple was 79 yrs old and their first time ever tubing and they said that Winnie made the experience wonderful they were never afraid and some of the rapids are good size. Winnie did a train with them and brought them through the rapids with a big smile. I just can’t praise this experience enough it’s definitely one I would do again! The lunch they served was very good. To me this was a 10 star not a 5 star!

Awesome day out - Excellent experience. One of our group wasn't very confident in water & they were brilliant with her, would highly recommend to anyone regardless of swimming ability.

Absolutely book this tour!! - An unforgettable day on the Suva River! We visited a fascinating village upriver, then enjoyed a delicious lunch right on the riverbank. The tubing was a perfect mix of fun and relaxation, with gentle rapids and stunning scenery. Best of all, our guides—Dougie, Nick, and Cookie—were incredible, especially when they sang as we floated down the river—truly magical!

Excellent and fun adventure!! - Excellent and fun adventure! Dougie and his staff, including Cookie and Nicky, provided an outstanding, fun, enjoyable, and safe adventure from start to finish. We traveled upstream by motorboat, visited a Fijian village (where all the villagers were attending Sunday church services), swam in a striking waterfall, ate a Fijian lunch by the waterside, and then negotiated a series of thrilling rapids while floating on tire tubes. While on the water, Dougie, Cookie, and Nicky serenaded us with a series of lovely and moving gospel tunes in the Fijian language. A marvelous excursion from start to finish. Highly recommended!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could! - We did this tour on a cruise ship stop. It was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it. We would be likely to do it again on another visit to Suva. We were a family group (mum, dad and two kids 8yo and 5yo). We were a bit concerned about how the kids would go with the river tubing but it is very safe. We all had life jackets on and the 5yo sat on dad's lap in the tube. The 8yo was fine in his tube and was the first in the line of tubes next to the guide as we went down the river. We all felt very safe and the kids loved going through the rapids and getting splashed. The trip starts by getting everyone ready with life jackets and tubes. At this point leave anything you won't be taking with you (change of clothes). You can hire reef shoes and dry bags as well which was great. Then a trip up the river on a long boat. There were 7 of us in the boat with our guide, Cookie, and our boat captain. It is a bit difficult to get in the boat and if you have mobility issues this may be a barrier to doing this tour. The team were amazing though and I am sure would help you if you needed it. First stop was to drop some tubes off for later in the day. Then we went to the village. I am generally sceptical of village tours as sometimes they are quite contrived. This was very genuine though. We walked through the village very respectfully. No one was on show and Cookie explained how these tours have improved the lives of the residents which was lovely to hear. Next was a waterfall swim a bit down river. This involves a walk of about 5 minutes and if you have mobility issues may be difficult. Lunch was next and absolutely delicious served in the middle of nowhere. Amazing. Then it was time for river tubing. We were given a safety briefing and then helped into the tubes. Riding down the river was fabulous. Cookie took great care of us and the other members of our group. All of the guides were great. Knowing exactly where their group members were at all times and knowing which places in the river to avoid and which ones to head for. It was probably about 45 minutes of floating down the river in the tubes and we went through several rapids. The scenery is stunning! Back at the start we had time to change and get a hot drink if we wanted and then we were taken back to our cruise ship with plenty of time before all aboard time. We loved it. Their 5 star rating is very well deserved. My one thing I would do differently is to (as our van driver said) accept that you will be wet all day. It was intermittently pouring with rain throughout our day in Suva. They had recommended in the pre your info we bring a change of clothes. We did for the kids but didn't for ourselves thinking we could just put our clothes back on over our bathers. It was fine because it was nice and warm but having a clean change of clothes back at the base would have been nice.

Great adventure - The trip was a blast. The guides were great and a lot of fun. The waterfall was awesome and the food was good.

Great day out - Great day out. Authentic village visit. Nice waterfalls. Fabulous Gorge scenery along the river. Best part was River tubing downstream and over small rapids. Loved our guides singing. It was wonderful as we floated along.
