Best cooking class ever! - I have done quite a few cooking classes but this one was by far the most personal and entertaining! The entire family was so welcoming. They showed us around the whole farm and vineyard to pick the vegetables and while our food was cooking. Everything was so fresh and it was an authentically farm to table experience. The dishes were delicious, as was the house wine. We even got to learn some traditional dances and celebrations at the end which made it so much more special! I can't recommend this enough!

Go!!! - Basiliko is challenging to get to but SO worth it! This is not just a cooking class - it is a visit to an organic farm where you pick part of your own dinner from one of their many gardens, and then a walk while dinner is in the oven, listening to stories about history and mythology. And, oh yes… the food is wonderful!

Basiliko Tavern Cooking Class + Tour of the Area - This is a must do! The family and the employees are incredibly nice and provided one of the best experiences I had in Greece! Walking around the farm, cooking, and getting a tour of the area was even better than I expected. Some of the best food I’ve had plus a walk around the area with some facts I never would’ve known. 12/10

11/10 Cooking Class / Experience, No Notes! - Incredible experience—we’ve done many cooking classes in other countries, but this was the best by far! This is a family owned and operated farm, and the warmth, generosity and sincerity is felt by guests in the class. From walking under 1,000 year old olive trees, harvesting vegetables from the garden, and taking a tour through history on the property, I can’t recommend this highly enough. If you’re on the fence about booking this, this is your sign to book it and thank me later!

Amazing authentic Greek experience! - Most authentic and fun experience in Greece! Anna is so much fun! It was a great evening to visit her family’s farm, pick veggies, visit the animals, cook, eat delicious food, drink wine, go for a walkabout and end the night with very fun Greek dancing. It is truly the highlight of our entire trip to Greece. Cannot recommend it enough. Truly left there feeling like we had 10 new friends!

Incredible cookies g class with Ana and her family owned farm - Ana greeted us with Citron and Sweet spoons and then led us through the family farm where we picked our vegetable for our dishes. We drank wine as she led us through every step of the recipes. As our dishes were cooking we were led around the estate by her brother Giannis who gave us a wonderful tour with delightful bits of history throughout. Then we came back to the table and had our incredible meal that we prepared as well as many other traditional family dishes. Unforgettable experience and we were shown unmatched hospitality.

Amazing experience - Perfect thing to do for a few hours, picking fresh vegetables and fruit, helping to prepare the meals, tour of their gardens and property and of course the delicious meal. A perfect traditional Greek experience including Greek dancing and even breaking dishes. The family who runs this is such lovely people. Worth every penny. They also sell their own homemade olive oil, spirits and wine which are incredible.

A must do experience!! - What an experience. We were welcomed in to the family farm and restaurant and given an insight in to farming on the island and got to make local recipes from the food we collected during our tour of the farm. We then had a walking tour of the local area whilst the food cooked. We eat the food alongside wine made by the family. The evening was concluded with dancing and plate smashing!!
