Worth Every Penny! Amazing Food and Experience - Wow! If I could rate this experience more than 5 stars I would!!! This was my favorite and most memorable excursion of our trip to Greece. The food was soo amazing, I am still dreaming about all the food we made to this day! The family is so welcoming, and lovely! They invite into their home as if you are their family members. I loved that you got a tour of their farm and pick out the produce for the class. The whole experience was wonderful and one we will never forget. Whether you have cooking skills or not, this class is doable for anyone. I wish I wrote down some of the recipes to repeat at home! I would definitely recommend this for anyone. We did this class with a group of adults from the USA and Romania and it was perfect. Although strangers, we dined like friends and enjoyed everyone's company! This was worth every penny!

Come for the kouris and stay for a magical meal. - If I could do this experience every year, I would. Katerina and family were so exceptionally warm, hospitable and instructive. We picked beautiful vegetables from the surrounding gardens and then help prepare them on the beautiful Stone terrace and outdoor dining area. A fire was set using branches and bamboo in the outdoor wood stove and, when it was hot enough, our stuffed vegetables or baked to perfection. They're also yummy zucchini fritters, a selection of cheeses, bread that we made ourselves, a selection of local wines and spirits, and stories about the family. We were entertained by the father son duo on violin and loot, and Katerina let us all in traditional dancing. I can't imagine a better morning and afternoon.

Amazing cultural experience!! - This trip was amazing from start to finish! The family just started offering tours last year. You are warmly welcomed to their family farm and given a history and information along with some welcome lemonade and traditional treats. Next we were guided through the farm property and picked vegetables for lunch and learned about the traditional olive press. Katerina and her husband were so friendly and spoke perfect English in addition to Greek. We were taught to follow traditional family recipes and prepared lunch. Following a walk to the famous statue and lunch, we were serenaded with music and learned a dance. If these activities sound interesting to you, do not hesitate to book this trip! You will get a real sense of life on Naxos! It was the highlight of our trip to Greece!

This was the most... - This was the most memorable highlight of trip - one that we will remember forever! Our hosts were warm and welcoming. They shared their beautiful farm, family history and traditions with us. Their sincere care for the land, food, and their guests was truly inspiring. This was one of the most authentic and meaningful experiences we had - an absolute must!

Spent the day with my... - Spent the day with my adult son with this delightful family; who went above and beyond to cater to our small group of 13 visitors from USA, Switzerland, Australia & New Zealand. Our host's made us feel part of the family; we were given the history of the farm that came from the host's fathers family. A detailed walk through the garden, picking organic herbs & vegetables for our meal. Next we all prepared the meal together, with many tips given by our host's. Our food was cooked to perfection by the host's Grandfather in a woodfired oven & plate. The BEST food I have tasted in Greece; served with the families Rose wine. Then we were treated to traditional music & song from father & son combo. I cannot say enough about how truly humbling and uplifting this trip was!! Just do it ! You won't be disappointed. Thank you Thank you !

Wonderful Greek family experience - Absolutely the best cooking tour we have done. The authenticity of the Greek culture shined through at this family farm where they have lived and worked for generations. We have visited Naxos numerous times and taken other cooking classes this was by far the best.

Great local experience with a lovely family! - Great food and location with a super nice, local family. After picking vegetables on their farm, we prepared some delicious food and got to hear some traditional music at the end. Highly recommend!

An unforgettable experience! - What an incredible day! The farm is gorgeous, the food was amazing, and the hosts were extraordinary. I can sincerely say, this tour was a highlight of our time in Greece, we cannot wait to return and renew our acquaintance with Katerina and her lovely family.

Great cooking experience with lovely family - We had a really fantastic time with the family. We took a walk through their garden and they explained all the vegetable and fruit there with very interesting facts on the side. The food we made - it was more then enough for everybody and everything tasted so great! It has been a really great experience and i would recommend it to old and young! :)

Unique and beautiful setting, welcoming family - Estia and her family have a very special spot in Naxos, with access to water that makes gardening possible. They open it up to visitors and share the gardens, wood-fired oven and stove, and authentic Greek mountain music. We had a delicious vegetarian meal, but the music was the real highlight for us. Cooking was fairly simple recipes that we certainly know how to make already on our own (vegetables stuffed with rice, fried bread, zucchini blossoms) and awfully high in carbs for my taste, but very fresh. The setting was gorgeous and we loved hearing the family's patriarch and his son improvise singing and fiddle/lute. Watching Estia's young daughter singlehandedly tackle the dishes was impressive too.
