This excursion invites participants to explore the natural wonders of Sicily. The journey begins in Taormina and proceeds to the charming Etna village of Castiglione di Sicilia. Stroll through its picturesque streets and visit the historic Castle of Lauria. Enjoy a tasting of extra virgin olive oil paired with homemade bread. The experience continues with a sampling of Sicilian cheeses and baked ricotta, offering insight into the traditional ricotta production methods passed down through generations. Lunch and wine tasting will take place at a family-operated winery.
The tour will then proceed to the Alcantara Gorges, where there will be a one-hour stop to appreciate the stunning natural scenery.
Return to the hotel is scheduled for the afternoon.
