A trip to Nasca Lines - We took this trip from Lima to go fly over the famous prehistoric Nasca Lines. We were in a private SUV with our driver Alejandro and tour guide Susan. They both did a fenomenal job taking us all the way to Nasca and back to Lima on this over 17 hours trip. Susan made everything easy on the long journey with planning all stops for breaks and completing all necessary paperwork for the flight registration. The actual flight over the geogliphs was about 30 minutes and was rather on the smoot side, although one of our fellow compannions on the flight did get sick from the motion. The stop at the Huacachina Oasis and the dune buggy ride was awesome too. We did that early in the morning so it wasn't very hot and we had a great time riding over the dunes. Susan also shared quite a bit of history on both the Oasis and the geogliphs which was very interesting and informative. The stop for lunch at this hidden gem she took us to was really nice too. It was a very pretty restaurant with tasty authentic Peruvian food. At the end although it was a very long day it was worth every minute of it. Would highly recommend it if you are trying to find a better option to visit Nasca from Lima.

One of the top highlights of my Peruvian trip. - A must visit site for a complete Peruvian experience. The Nazca lines are both enigmatic and fascinating. Who made them and why is still being debated. They are beautiful and can only be admired truly from the air. The pilots are fantastic pointing to the geoglyphs with the wing tips to help you locate them. One of the geoglyphs is cut into 2 by the pan American highway and one can see it on the way to the little airport. The flight gives you a scale of the effort the ancient Peruvian civilisation has gone to create these magnificent geoglyphs. There are literally hundreds of them but the flight only fly over a handful of the most famous ones.
On the way back a quick stop at Huacachina was most welcome for a break. The oasis is very picturesque and looks like a Hollywood movie set. Sand dunes with a lake and beautiful 1920s architecture provides the setting.
The 6 hours journey from Lima to Nazca was worth it for me to witness one of the great mystery of the world.

Great, very long, day - It’s a very long day and we did it on no sleep but I wouldn’t have missed it Our driver Alejandro was a trouper and our guide Suzana was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. The flight over Nazca is no joke—if at all prone to motion sickness take your meds and even those may not help. Still an experience not to skip. I thought I’d be disappointed by the Oasis but the dune buggy ride was tons of fun

Incredible experience. - Incredible experience, we had loads of fun in the desert dunes with the buggy and sand boarding. The airplane over Nazca lines was amazing, we strongly recommend taking anti-nausea pills because the people who didn’t take them had a really bad time. The car we rode in was súper confortable, the drivers very responsible and super nice. The guide explained certain things along the way. STRONG WARNING: we know it’s not the tours fault, but the traffic and road repairs made our 450 km return from Nazca go from an estimated 5 hours to 7 hours, which was a little frustrating. So if you’re not comfortable with long drives, choose another option, for us it was worth it but maybe it’s not for everyone.

Incredible experience!! - The Tour start at time.( 4:00 am) There were 7 persons in total in the tour. We did two stops before arrive at Nazca. In the airport all was organized, you need to pay there in cash the fees. The flight was awesome and the pilots showed us the figures in the soli. Each passenger had their window, so everyone could see the lines.
There was a bridge reparation in our route and we have 2 hours of detour. We arrive at night to the dunes, but it was sn experience too, because the moon was awesome yesterday and the desert was clear.
It is a hard trip, because is far from Lima, but the experience is unique.

Culture and adventure in the same day - A muss when in Peru.
The transfer car was very comfortable and the driver very good. The trip starts at 4am and you have an 5 hour drive to nasca. On your way to nasca we have 2 extra stops at Palpa to see some geoliths with enough time to enjoy and use my drone.
The flight takes around 30 minutes with a small plane. They are 6 places so everyone has a window seat. They flight to see the lines two times so that everyone can see and take pictures.
The oasis was incredible as well and the dune drive was amazing. Pure adrenaline.
RECOMMENDATION:
Before you start the tour go first to the top of the dunes to enjoy the view.
The buggy drives somewhere ealse.
Thanks to Jonathan the guide for this experience

Superb experience from Start to Finish. - On time. Clean and modern SUV with AC.
You will be guided through the contrasts of Peruvian geography and how it affected its ancient peoples.
Jonathan (our tour guide) is passionate about his country.
You will learn about Peru’s ancient heritage and contemporary nuances.
Doors were open for us each and every time, without fail. Each time we got in the car we were provided with sanitizer. Extremely professional service.
Choice of restaurants was well thought out; I got to try pulpo al olivo (octopus with olive sauce)… it was delicious, if you happen to like olives. I recommend it.
Pro-tip; if you have never flown on a small aircraft before, eat light and buy over the counter motion sickness pills. My fiancée had never flown on a small airplane before and we were able to complete the 35 min flight without issues. Ask the first officer to crack open the windows for you if it gets hot.
The dunes were super fun and we had a blast sliding down with the boards. Pro-tip; wear hiking shoes if you can to the dunes to avoid getting sand inside your socks/shoes. Hat, long sleeves, active pats and sunscreen are also recommended.
Overall 10/10. Enjoyed it throughly.

Worth Every Penny - This trip was really awesome! It was a private tour which gave us a lot of flexibility on how long or little we wanted to spend at different places. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, our driver was really nice. We really enjoyed this trip and it was a highlight out of our whole Peru trip. We were able to see both the Nazca line and Huacachina Oasis in one day from Lima, which I think is really impressive considering that they're not that close. Sandboarding was a lot fun and ridding on a sand buggy was an adventure. Definitely recommend.
