Negombo - We will receive you from the Colombo airport and transfer to hotel in Negombo. Negombo is the nearest main city to the Airport. We have choosen this option as you may be arriving Sri Lanka after a long flight. Definitely you will require proper rest before starting the tour around Sri Lanka.

Fantastic round trip at Sri Lanka - We had a fantastic and memorable trip to Sri Lanka. Shantha Munugoda did everything he could to ensure we had a wonderful experience. He made sure we were in the right place at the right time — for example, we arrived at Minneriya National Park when there were hardly any other tourists around, and we got to witness the elephant gathering almost all by ourselves. Amazing! On our way back, the parking lot was full of jeeps heading in. Shantha also made sure we had the very best guides at the various locations. He added lovely little touches, like buying coconut drink along the road and serving us. He was also open to adjusting the trip according to our wishes. For instance, when we asked about finding a shop that sold silk, he found us a great one. He was also an excellent driver, which made us feel safe on otherwise wildly busy roads. We highly recommend Shantha as a guide. The hotels were of good quality, and all of them had great locations. A well-planned round trip — highly recommended!

Explore Sri Lanka safely and well - We had a really nice trip around Sri Lanka with our personal guide / driver Amila, who was always ready to be helpful with the wishes we had, as well as was very telling about the things we saw. Wild Nature. Amazing landscapes. Interacting with the locals. Great hotels where we could relax - Very beautiful nature and amazing cultural experience. Our guide Sunil made sure everything was good, even doing adding additional stops to our route where we could see beautiful landscapes and cultural buildings. We never felt in doubt or lost when we went to visit all of the places, but at the same time Sunil was amazing to make sure he stayed in the background when needed so we also felt it was our own trip

Sri Lanka round trip - An amazing trip with all the must sees of Sri Lanka. We had Kushan as our guide and he was the best guide we could’ve asked for! He was so kind and funny and always had answers to our questions and 10/10 recommendations for us. Sri Lanka is the most beautiful and versatile country with wonderful people. Truly a great experience!

Amazing and surprising Srilanka. - This trip was by far the most beautiful and peaceful and the special reason for this was our driver brother Vikum. He was a man Friday and guided us and helped us and drove us throughout this 8day trip. We were travelling with elderly parents but itvwas a very comfortable journey. Srilanka is soooooo green, near and clean and amazing roads. The thick vegetation and greenery was all around. Right from Sigriya rock, Dambula, ella, nuyara iliya and bentota everything was just picture perfect. Again special mention of our driver brother Vikum. He was like family and we felt safe and secure with him. He understood our requirements and limitations and worked the entire tour accordingly.

Thank you Dilshan Wijethunga <3 - It was a really amazing trip getting to see a culture and a way of living very different to ours. Sri Lanka truly is the gem of the Indian Ocean with a lot of different beautiful sights and a lot of history. On of the best parts about this country is the hospitality and the friendliness of the people. None more so than our guide Dilshan Wijethunga! The trip certainly wouldn’t be as amazing if it wasn’t for him. He is one of the friendliest, kindest, most knowledgable and most helpful people I have ever met. He made sure we had what we needed at all times and did a lot of little things to make sure we got to experience as much as we could in the time we had. The entire trip was a very smooth experience thanks to him. I will absolutely make sure anyone I know who’s coming here request him as a guide.

Adventurous and personalized tour through Sri Lanka - We Had an amazing time in Sri Lanka with a well organized tour and a lot of program. Our activities were very diverse and we were able to view stunning landscapes, many wildlife animals, and tempels. All Hotels we're also very nice. Furthermore, our guide Dushan was full of ideas for extra activities, like climbing up a waterfall, visit the nine arch bridge and the temple in Ella, or diving at pigeon island after the whale watching in Trincomalee. Throughout the trip we made a lot of stops to try various fruits and local food. Dushan was super flexible which allowed us to fully personalize the tour. We can highly recommend booking this tour with Mahaweli!

Mahaweli tours & travels is the best tour operator in Sri Lanka. - I was under their wonderful guide for the whole day. First I went to Sigiriya(The Lion Rock), from there I went to Ambuluwawa Tower. Their experienced driver is very sincere and helpful. I had a great time with their car ride for the whole day. Thank you Mahaweli Tours & Holidays for giving me such a nice trip.
