Climbing Pidurangala rock is challenging, so it should not be attempted if you are not physically strong enough. There is no clear path to the top: steep paths and uneven steps lead to an expanse of boulders and crevices that climbers must navigate to reach the summit. Ensure you have mosquito spray if bites trouble you.

Minneriya National Park - Next, visit Minneriya/Kaudulla National Park for an afternoon 4x4 Jeep safari, the best time to spot wild elephants in their natural habitat. If you’re up for a serious jungle adventure, Minneriya/Kaudulla is your ideal destination! Spanning 8800 hectares, this park is primarily a sanctuary for elephants. Watching baby elephants play in the water at the park’s centerpiece lake is always a pleasure. This place is known as the largest elephant gathering place in the world.
