Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa
Polonnaruwa Vatadage - Begin the day with a visit to the Polonnaruwa Cultural Site, the magnificent medieval capital of Sri Lanka, established as the island’s first city in the 11th century A.D.
Minneriya National Park - In the afternoon, head to Minneriya National Park for a safari. During the safari, expect to see herds of elephants, birds, monkeys, deer, wild buffalo, and wild pigs. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Sigiriya to Kandy
Dambulla Cave Temple - Travel from Sigiriya to Kandy, stopping at the Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla. The temple features five caves, each containing images of Buddha.
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - Visit the Hindu temple in Matale, designed in the South Indian style, and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which houses the sacred tooth relic and is considered the last king’s palace. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Nuwara Eliya - Travel to N’Eliya, a key area for tea production in Sri Lanka due to its cooler climate. A visit to a tea factory and plantation is highly recommended to observe the tea production process from plucking to completion. Also, visit the stunning Ramboda Waterfall. Overnight stay in N’Eliya.
Post Office Nuwara Eliya - Visit the historic post office in N’Eliya, one of the oldest in the country, built by the British and showcasing Tudor-era architectural style.
Nuwara Eliya to Ella
Ella - In the morning, take the train from Nanu Oya to Ella. The journey offers views of lush tea plantations, mountains, waterfalls, small villages, and local life. Hike to Mini Adams Peak for a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape.
Ella Rock - Climb either Mini Adams Peak or Ella Rock for a picturesque view of the area.
Ella to Yala
Yala National Park - Depart for Yala, stopping at Rawana Waterfall along the way. Rawana Waterfall is one of Sri Lanka’s widest. Continue to Buduruwagala, a complex with seven statues reflecting Mahayana thoughts. Proceed to Yala National Park for a safari, where leopards, sloth bears, elephants, sambars, deer, peacocks, crocodiles, and various birds can be spotted. A 4x4 jeep is required to enter the park. Overnight stay in Yala.
Buduruwagala Temple - Visit Buduruwagala, a complex with seven statues reflecting Mahayana thoughts.
Yala to Beaches
Unawatuna - Travel to the beaches, visiting the Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the traditional stilt fishermen, and the Turtle Hatchery. Conclude the tour at a preferred beach or return to the airport to end the tour.
