In the mangroves and canals in Negombo - Lovely 2 hours on the water in Negombo. The boatman took us from our hotel by tuk tuk to the bridge and we boarded the boat. We saw the hangovers here we had a fruit picnic. Then we went to Monkey Island to feed the monkeys, including babies. We saw herons and pelicans and one blue kingfisher.

Fantastic Tour of Negombo Lagoon - Excellent tour of Negombo Lagoon. Abundant wildlife viewing, including numerous birds, monkeys, and a giant monitor lizard in the mangroves. The guide was quite knowledgeable about the lagoon, very friendly, and extremely accommodating any time you wanted to take a picture. An amazing fresh fruit buffet and coconut drink were provided. I highly recommend this tour!

Go with Nishan absolutely fantastic guide and tour - After fantastic Negombo city tour yesterday we decided to do the Lagoon tour with Nishan from Helituktuktours. He was again brilliant. The tour started being picked up from our hotel and taken to the boat where we toured out with commentary all the way along with laughs. We were treated to fruit whilst sitting on chairs in the lake, just perfect. To then seeing monkeys and water dragon with multiple bird life . Definitely worth doing especially with Nishan. Thank you

Nice boat ride - Spent a nice half a day on the water. Saw various birds, cute monkeys and a very large lizard - water monitor. Snack stop was very welcome - fruit platter and coconut water from the real coconut. Smooth pickup & drop off at my hotel.

Excellent trip out with lots to spot! - This was such a joy (it even rained half way through and we still loved it)! We saw birds including herons, pelicans and cormorants, we stopped in shallow waters and got to walk around, were provided with a buffet of fruit, we saw lots of monkeys that climbed onto the boat, one even had a little baby clinging to its stomach which was adorable and our driver also spotted a monitor lizard on a tree branch. Anytime we were taking pictures our driver would slow right down to make sure we got our shot. Also worth adding that our driver picked us up from our hotel in a tuktuk and dropped us back off which was super handy. Excellent trip out, we had a great time.
