Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo, you will be warmly welcomed by your friendly tour leader and transferred to your hotel. (Pickups from any hotel in Colombo or Negombo are also available for your convenience.)

Your first stop is the charming coastal town of Negombo – one of Sri Lanka’s most popular beach destinations, known for its golden sands, fresh seafood, and vibrant atmosphere.

Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - In the afternoon, visit the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the island’s most treasured landmarks. Built by King Kasyapa (477–495 AD), this ancient citadel rises dramatically from the jungle and features intricate frescoes, royal gardens, and stunning panoramic views from the summit. Late afternoon is the perfect time to climb, as the golden hour bathes the landscape in magical light, an unforgettable sight.

KINGDOM OF POLONNARUWA / MINNERIYA NATIONAL PARK

Pidurangala Rock - For early risers, an optional sunrise hike to Pidurangala Rock offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding jungle and the majestic Sigiriya Rock in the morning light, a perfect opportunity for stunning photos and peaceful reflection.

Polonnaruwa - After breakfast, travel to Polonnaruwa, the second ancient capital of Sri Lanka, where King Vijayabahu established his kingdom in 1070 AD. Exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site by bicycle is a magical way to connect with the island’s history, as you cycle past majestic ruins, ancient temples, statues, and reservoirs that reflect a golden age of Sri Lankan civilization.

Minneriya National Park - In the afternoon, set off on a 4x4 jeep safari at either Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park.

GOLDEN CAVE TEMPLE / HISTORIC KANDY / CULTURAL SHOW

Golden Temple of Dambulla - On your way to Kandy, stop to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple and Golden Buddha Statue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perched 160 meters above the plains, this is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The five cave temples house a remarkable collection of statues and vibrant frescoes that reflect centuries of religious devotion and artistry.

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - Upon arrival in Kandy, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most significant Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. Kandy Lake Club - Cultural Dance Show - In the evening, enjoy some free time to stroll through Kandy’s city center, visit the tranquil Kandy Lake, or take in panoramic views from a local viewpoint. Afterwards, experience a traditional Kandyan cultural dance performance, featuring vibrant costumes, rhythmic drumming, and dances inspired by Sri Lankan folklore and rituals.

KITULGALA FOREST ADVENTURES & RAFTING

Rafting Kitulgala - Upon arrival in Kitulgala, gear up for an exhilarating White Water Rafting experience on the Kelani River. Surrounded by tropical rainforest and scenic hills, this river offers both excitement and serene natural beauty. The rafting activity is open to participants aged 10 and above and is conducted with full safety measures for a fun and secure experience.

Kitulgala - Continue your adventure with a short trek to a natural rock pool, tucked deep in the jungle. Here, you’ll have the unique chance to slide down a 5-meter sloped waterfall, a natural waterslide straight into a crystal-clear rock pool, all with proper safety gear and guidance.

Nanu Oya - Board your train at Nanu Oya station for what is often called one of the most beautiful train rides in the world. As the train winds through misty mountains, lush tea plantations, and charming rural villages, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views and countless photo opportunities. Mini Adams Peak - Upon arrival in Ella, take a leisurely walk through the laid-back village. Loved by travelers for its relaxed atmosphere and natural beauty, Ella is surrounded by forested hills, scenic tea estates, and charming viewpoints.

• Ravana Falls – A stunning waterfall named after the legendary king from the Ramayana epic.

Yala National Park - Early morning, set out on an unforgettable 4x4 jeep safari through Yala National Park.

Coconut Tree Hill - Thereafter, you’ll be heading towards the beautiful seaside of the island. On the way to the beach, stop at the iconic Coconut Tree Hill in Mirissa, a postcard-perfect spot where rows of palms overlook the turquoise ocean. This is one of the most Instagram-worthy locations in Sri Lanka, offering spectacular panoramic views and photo opportunities.
