Fun Excursion on the JAMWEST Catamaran Snorkel and Stop at Ricks Cafe! - We booked Jamwest catamaran right off the beach walking distance from the Azul Resort, Negril. Professional staff kept everyone safe throughout the snorkel trip and stop at Ricks Cafe. It was a fun trip with around 45 guests. Snorkel reef stop was nice seeing many colorful fish and sea life. We appreciate all the crew did to make it a great excursion. Fun, Fun, Fun!

Jamwest catamaran and ricks cafe trip - A must do trip in Jamaica which was enjoyed by all the family. The initial stop at Negril beach was heavenly with the crystal blue sea to enjoy. The facilities at Jamwest were excellent with great service and entertainment for a bit of food and drink before we embarked on the catamaran for a fun sail to ricks cafe. Those brave enough did the jump and for those that weren’t so brave enjoyed the spectacle of the local boys jumping from a stomach churning height…would definitely return if I was to ever enjoy the delights of Jamaica again.

Amazing day trip - We had a great time on this trip to see a real live coral reef see all the amazing sea life. It was an amazing trip. To top it off we also saw a dolphin on the boat when on the way back. Rum punch was good! Snacks just crisps so fill up on a good breakfast/lunch before you go. My hubby and 8 year old jumped off the cliffs at Ricks cafe. A fun trip made a lovely end to our holiday. Thanks 36 Clarke our driver.

Catamaran Party Boat - We had an amazing time with each of the staff aboard the Super Cat (yellow band) JamWest - Catamaran Party Boat. The staff were professional & entertaining from the walk in the water onto the boat; during the exchange from the Catamaran Boat to an excursion boat which took everyone to the Famous Rick's Cafe; the captain also described the caves along the water and what they were used for. The staff were great. Definitely a 10/10 ... Worth the money.

Jamwest Catamaran Cruise with snorkelling and a visit to Ricks Cafe - The beach was really lovely and the sea beautiful and warm to swim in, catamaran was good fun, the staff were great and looked after everyone on the snorkelling adventure. 7 mile beach was beautiful to see and we even had some dolphins jumping in front of the catamaran. Rick’s Cafe was great although not much advice given if you were brave enough to do the jump off the cliff resulting in some hard hitters into the water. The staff at Ricks cafe were lovely and helpful. Beautiful views, then party time on the way back - great fun, learnt some Jamaican dances and generally had a fantastic day

Catamaran , snorkelling and cliff jumping - Two hours in the beach, nice beach bar restaurant and gift shop. The Catamaran host Mr O’Brien and his crew were welcoming and we started with a stop at the snorkelling site. If you’ve never tried snorkelling then this is a good introduction. 30 minutes snorkelling then back on the Cat and drinks were served. Cruise down to Ricks Cafe for an hour of cliff jumping or just enjoy the bar. (Be careful of potential injury jumping from the cliffs, maybe 62 year olds shouldn’t do it🤣). Cruise back to the start point, Mr O’Brien and his crew kept us entertained. Nice trip, friendly crew would recommend.

Fine but there is better - We booked the Jam West boat tour through our Sunwing representative at a cost of about $90 per person. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to later discover that we could book a similar tour directly on our resort’s beach for $55 per person — and, in all honesty, that catamaran tour was much better. The tour started with a stop at a beach where we stayed for about an hour and a half. You could purchase food at the restaurant or shop in the store, which was fine. We then boarded the catamaran for snorkeling. The water was quite choppy, so we were only able to snorkel for about 10 minutes — something we understand is out of anyone’s control. After that, we headed to Rick’s Café, which was nice and enjoyable. However, overall the boat crew didn’t seem very engaged. It felt like they were tolerating the guests rather than having fun with them, which really affected the atmosphere. After experiencing the catamaran tour offered directly through our resort, we would not recommend the Jam West boat tour, especially considering the higher cost and less enjoyable experience.

Too expensive for what's on offer. There's only drinks on the catamaran. Music on the catamaran is unbearably loud! - Nice trip, beautiful surroundings. Too expensive for what's on offer. Music on board unbearably loud!! On board only drinks, nothing to eat. RIcks cafe is worth seeing, but mass handling, too expensive too noisy...

Extremely dangerous do not go - If I could give this a 0 I would. So I know Jamaica can have the spot of rain but we were assured by Royalton Tours this cruise would not go ahead if weather changed. We got on and it started raining but only slightly. After ten minutes into the journey we went into a storm. Everyone was squashed inside as the weather was dreadful. I told a member of staff that they should turn back. We were told that if the weather turned bad it would not go ahead but it did!!!! No one listened. We were told snacks and drinks would be available but for $86 we had a packet of cheese crisps and a rum punch that was awful. We thought we would have more of a selection of snacks. The serious part…… ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ We headed to Ricks Cafe and I was gobsmacked as the boat was crashing against the wall rocks. How it didn't damage the boat I have no idea. Then we had to grab on to a member of staff who then said when I say go…. Go! This was with the awful storm in place and the boat crashing into the wall. Lots felt so unsafe. Then we headed up the steps only to find so much rainwater it was all coming down on us. All floors were flooded and people slipping and falling. I have never witnessed something so badly. We have submitted 2 complaints and no response! Shock horror! We didn't go back on the boat and caught a taxi back. Please avoid this trip unless you really want to injure yourself. The whole trip was like a death wish. No consideration for people or health and safety is our number one priority 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨AVOID🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

NOT a “family cruise”. Horrifying dry humping drunk people - . The way you advertise is so misleading. The group had approx 40 plus people mostly families with little kids and then about 9 individuals that basically took over the whole cruise. As soon as the music started they started tweaking and grinding each other. After snorkeling the booze started and didn’t stop. Giving them shots one right after the other in fact the bartender also drank and took shots. You couldn’t get to bar to even get a drink and your “light hor’deuves were a joke. A .25 cent bag of chips. The worse was the total disregard for any other passenger other than these 9 people who basically dry humped each other and would have had sex if they could take their clothes off. Only about 5 minutes until the end does the DJ say to “keep it PG so he doesn’t lose his job”. That was when two people were basically on the trampoline part dry humping each other. earlier my daughter sat next to a couple as the girl sat on the guys lap and they basically humped. Even a girl twerking used my other daughter’s knee for leverage. . Your website says Thursday is for family days. It was far from a family day. Everyone but these nine people looked on in horror. Shameful and not worth a dime to ever do this again. I will be reviewing this anywhere I can so that people are aware. Amstar who we scheduled this with should have also told us what to expect
