A magical side of Maggie - Thank you Tim for a wonderful sunset tour last night. Your passion for Maggie and her environments is clear! The wildlife spotting, informaion about this part of the island and the catering were highlights. 10/10!

Best night of our lives - We stayed at Nomads in Magnetic island & upon arrival were asked if we wanted to do the West Point Sunset Safari bus tour. The journey was about 20 mins out to West Point, to which we stopped to spot Koala’s and had a very knowledgeable and kind driver. When we got to West Point beach, we hopped out and took photos of the beautiful sunset (the best I’ve ever seen). Our Guide Tim (absolute legend) kindly got our picnic blankets and chairs to which we could choose what we wanted to use. He then set up a table of drinks, to which we got 2 each for free. We sat, drank and laughed whilst watching the sunset, shark fins and turtle heads approaching the waters surface, and looked at the stars when it got dark. Incredible evening and one that made us grateful to be where we were. Thank you Tim for making it special for us!

The best tour ever! - We have been on Magnetic Island for a week and a half now, and not had any success finding a koala. We have been to MI three times now, but never got over to West Point so decided to go see the sunset this trip. Tim was a superb guide, freely answering our questions and pointing out spots of interest. Best of all, Tim stopped at a small grove of gums and lo and behold he found us a koala! We loved the wine and snacks on the beach and we picked the right day, minimal clouds and a glorious sunset. We loved Tim, we had a great time with him and we would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Magnetic Island.

Very relaxing moment. - We spent a very nice moment with the organizer of tour and other group members (We were only 6 in total). Explanations about the Island and the wildlife on the Island were quite interesting and instructive but given with a lot of good humour and fun. Sunset was really nice and champagne was quite good.
The whole experience was really enjoyable and relaxing.

5 star safari to beautiful West Point - Tim took a group of 18 of us, family and friends on this trip of a lifetime. Tim is so passionate and knowledgeable about Magnetic Island, he has a fabulous sense of humour and is an all round lovely person. Our group just loved how he pulled up when he spotted a koala and it's baby so we could all get out of the bus and take photos. Such a thrill to see our wildlife in the wild instead of a nature park. This very special part of the island is difficult to access without a 4WD and Tim navigates the roads confidently. To top of the tour, we were treated to a magical sunset, first red and then gold. We walked the beautiful beach whilst Tim set up chairs for all of us. We were treated to a 5 star grazing platter and some lovely wines, champagne and beer to wash the gourmet delights down whilst we watched the sun retreat. This trip is a MUST DO when you visit Magnetic Island...and the silhouette photos Tim took, perfected, then sent to me for our group were unforgettable. Thanks so much Tim, this tour was rated the number one experience by our group for our week long stay on Magnetic Island.

More than just a sunset! - Friendly, passionate,knowledgeable and very accommodating. Was so worth taking the tour with the commentary as we were learning the entire trip, not just a sunset view. The platter and drinks with immaculate presentation was amazing and topped off the trip. Thanks Tim.

Stunning sunset experience - We had such a great time on this tour and would highly recommend it. Tim was just so knowledgeable about the island, it's history, and ecology.
The sunset was spectacular and everything it was advertised to be. Didn't expect the lovely table laid with a beautiful platter of food, comfy chairs to sit and watch the sun set, while sipping on a glass of bubbly.
Do yourself a favour and go. The road isn't accessible by hire car so this is an experience you may not otherwise get!

Sunset Bliss - Tim has a good sense of humour and is very knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and the island he lives on.
We had a great time and spotted a mum koala with her Bub, a hawk, wallaby, bat and a frog plus we enjoyed the most spectacular sunset.

Lack of professionalism around tour bus breakdown - The tour bus broke down I understand that happens but how the incident was handled did not feel professional or that they valued their customers leaving people waiting for over 35 mins, not answering any calls. When finally someone came along their approach left us feeling more disappointed.
I would recommend hiring a car that can go to West Point or an e-bike and taking matters into your own hand and will be doing so if we get back to magnetic island
