7 hour tour. With great local lunch - Melissa did great job answering many questions for us about the salt mines. But more on local culture and politics. She will take care of you. Only suggestion. We left at 0900 on a Sunday so traffic took 90 minutes to get there. She said if we had left by 0800 it would be only a hour. This was our choice.

Fantastic experience at theSalt Cathedral of Zipaquirá with Esteban 🙏🏻 - This August 2025 I have been on a business trip to the city of Bogota. I have been to Colombia for the first time in my life, and I didn’t quite knew what is awaiting me during my leisure time. My coworker booked a trip for me to experience the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá since he told me that this is something very unique. The guide that has been assigned to me was as good as it gets! His name is Esteban, and this young man really knows how to make a tour engaging, funny, and filled with lots of knowledge about anything you ask him about the tour! The knowledge he has about the salt cathedral is mind blowing and super interesting. Afterwards we went to the well known restaurant „Andres“ which was a fantastic experience too! All in all, I can only recommend to go on a tour with Esteban! I was not even a single second bored with him! His ways of explaining things, paired with his very good sense of humor made this tour a really great experience that I certainly won’t ever forget. I would always go on a tour again with Esteban! This tour is a solid 10 out of 10, i totally recommend Esteban as a guide 🙏🏻

David Rodriguez is the best! - We used Hansa Tours two days in a row. Both days, with David Rodriguez as tour guide. David is amazing. He is so educated, so informed and so passionate about his city and its history. We spent the first day in Nemocon and stopped at Andres Carne de Res for lunch. David is so accommodating and concerned for everyone's safety and comfort. He gives you facts and history all day long. There is no limit to his expertise! The second day took us to Monseratte and Candlearia. Again, David is amazing. Taking you exactly where it is beautiful, safe and fun! Our drivers, Mauricio and Vladimir were cautious and courteous. This tour company put me so at ease while being in Columbia for the first time. We felt safe the entire time. Bogota is an amazing city, full of history and beauty. Great day in Salt Mines - We enjoyed our day trip with Marcello Bitti & driver Angel Roa. Marcello who was very knowledgeable about the region, sights, history, and culture. He also took us to some great places to eat afterwards. Had a wonderful day!
