Kathmandu Valley - The journey begins at Kathmandu airport, where you’ll board an AIRBUS H125 (Eurocopter 350 Model) helicopter for a flight to Everest Base Camp. After flying over the highest viewpoint of the Base Camp area, the helicopter will continue to Lukla airport for a quick fuel stop. If there are 4-6 passengers, the flight may continue to Pheriche at 4200 meters to split the group. The flight to Base Camp will depart from 4200 meters.

Lukla - Stop At: Lukla, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
The first stop is for refueling. This is the airport where trekkers begin their journey to Everest Base Camp.
Duration: 10 minutes -
Pheriche - This is the old splitting point if there are more than 3 passengers. Two people will fly first, followed by three people, ensuring everyone gets a window seat for the Everest Base Camp segment.

Duration: 25 minutes - Mount Everest - Enjoy a beautiful tour of the Base Camp. This flyover offers excellent views of Mount Everest and other high peaks like Pumori, Lhotse, and Nuptse. Take the opportunity to capture videos and photos.
- Syangboche Marg - This is the breakfast landing point during the Everest helicopter flight. Stop at Hotel Everest View (subject to weather). Usually, there is a one-hour stop, and it costs USD 31 per person for a set breakfast.
- Kathmandu - Return to Kathmandu from Everest Base Camp by helicopter, with a possible landing at Hotel Everest View. The flight to Kathmandu via Lukla takes one hour. The captain may choose to fly directly or via Lukla, depending on fuel requirements.

The Heli Tour to Everest Base Camp is a classy way to enjoy the elegance of the Everest Himalayas. It is the best-suited tour for people with a short amount of time. The best time of the year for the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is Spring and Autumn. March, April, and May are the best months as they come just after the winter season. As we all know, the winter season brings snow to the mountains. Autumn (September, October, and November) is also a good season. The cost of a Heli tour to Everest Base Camp depends upon the time of the year and varies from one company to another.

Landing at Kalapatthar - It's a day we'll remember forever. Going to Everest is a dream that became a reality thanks to our incredible Trip Operator. From the first minute, he did his best to arrange the experience on my wife birthday, although of course it was up to the whims of the weather. But his care, support and willingness to find solutions made the impossible possible.
We asked Dipak to land at Kalapatthar Because everyone was saying this is the best view point to see Mt Everest and other Himalaya. Everything was perfectly organized: I was taken straight from my Hotel, everything went exactly in time, and after the flight, I was back at my Hotel.
But the most valuable thing is not just only professionalism, but the person. Kind, sympathetic, incredibly pleasant to talk to. When you have such tour operator, you don't just fly to Everest, you go on an unforgettable journey with someone who genuinely wants you to experience the best.

Dream come true - We booked a helicopter tour on 12th of January 2026. First of all, we were very well taken care of and everything about the flight’s intinerary was explained in detail. The weather was sunny and warm. Our pilot was knowledgeable and showed us the most beautiful part of Himalayas. Also the view from Everest Hotel was amazing. We can gladly recommend this company: not only the service was professional, but also we fulfilled our dream to see Mount Everest and other summits up close.

Landing at kalapatthar - The helicopter journey offered stunning landscapes and incredible clarity over the Himalayan peaks.
Kala Patthar gave us the closest and most impressive view of Everest. Dipak handled everything perfectly and coordinated each step flawlessly.
The pilot ensured comfort and safety throughout the journey. Breakfast at Hotel Everest View was a beautiful addition.
Everything felt well-managed and first-class. A fantastic choice for travelers.

Landing at Kalapathar! - Absolutely amazing excursion. My friend Erin found this tour which is how we met Dipak. Excellent person that informed us quite well on how the trip would go, about things that may go sideways, and when and where to be. This guy is great. He was in constant contact and even came to our hotel in Thamel the night before to personally describe the trip.
The day started early with a first thing pick-up by Dipak who drove us to the airport. There he connected us with the ramp team to get is out to the helicopter (you actually need a boarding pass!). Easy. I informed Dipak that this was a bucket list thing for me and he got me the front seat for a decent part of the flights. I say flights because the helicopter pilot we flew with, Pasang, is a very highly rated high altitude rescue pilot. During our trip we did have a couple side excursions so Pasang could retrieve sick and injured trekkers. One might think that a bad thing but I take it as a positive as we got to land at other places along the trekking route. Speaking of landings, we actually followed a prop plane into Lukla, the most dangerous runway in the world. Absolutely awesome scene. Anyway we also got to land at Dingboche where we watched yaks and trekkers pass through the small village. There we picked up Vyrom from Perth Australia. Great guy who was trekking to Everest Base Camp when he encountered some oxygen issues. He’s doing well and he and I WhatsApp here and there. Moving on.
The total winning moment was landing at Kalapathar!! Landing above Base Camp and looking down at it from say 18,500 feet is surreal. Bucket list stuff. Pasang told us that helicopters can only go to 20,000 feet! Did not know that we were edging closer to the max than I could have imagined.
I have to say that Pasang, the pilot was extremely accommodating, super knowledgeable, and the consummate professional. We were in safe hands the whole trip.
Oh, and can’t forget Everest View Hotel. It is seriously amazing to come in for a landing amongst 5-6-7 other helicopters all perched on little mounds of dirt in the Everest View Hotel “helicopter parking lot!” Pasang maneuvered us in skillfully. There we had an over priced breakfast but, who cares? I just walked around on Kalapathar looking directly at Mt Everest. 35$ for breakfast is silly but, I did not mind. I did leave a tip for the kind gentleman that served us though.
The flight back was good. I did lose the front seat to a helicopter trainee. Pasang is also a high altitude helicopter flight instructor - go figure.
Upon getting back to the airport, total surprise but we flew right over the heliport and landed right behind some commercial airliners. Totally cool. I guess Pasang has some pull around that place??
A trip like this does cost. But seeing as how we actually got to land at Kalapathar, it was worth it. Other trips only land at Everest View Hotel, that’s awesome too but, not nearly as good as way up there right at the mountain looking down on the glacier, tents, and ant sized people in Everest Base Camp. Trip of a lifetime and yes, I would do it again. Antarctica is next?? Dipak, Can you hook us up??
And in closing, an absolute total thank you to Dipak. Thank you for constant contact, for dinner, for the loaner North Face coats, for everything. OK and a shout out to the Avacado restaurant there in Thamel. Definitely would not have found it without Dipak.

2 nights in Lukla, 2 night at Everest View - Dipak was incredible. He did what he said, and beyond. Our itinerary went flawlessly. We took a helicopter from Kathmandu to spend 2 nights in Lukla, at the Yeti Mountain hotel to help us get acclimatized. From there, we flew up to Everest View Hotel, with a stop at Basecamp. The food and accommodation at both hotels was great. The views were unbelievable. Dipak made everything much easier by picking us up at the airport, in Kathmandu, taking us to our hotel, and taking us back to the airport the next morning. He even took us to dinner at his favourite restaurant. I can't say enough about the trip, or him. Thank you.

They planned a comfortable trip for us, even without detailed input, arranging stay dates perfectly. - I felt incredibly excited during the helicopter ride to see Everest up close. The captains were very attentive, explained everything clearly, and were fully focused on their work. I’m grateful to Adventure White Mountain for arranging a trip that left me completely satisfied. Landing at Kalapatthar - This was the most amazing experience! It was very well organized and made our visit to Nepal a trip of a lifetime. If you want to do a helicopter flight while in Kathmandu, book with White Mountain Adventures. You will not be disappointed.

Everest adventure - We had planned and agonized over this trip for almost a year and if something had gone wrong we would have been so disappointed, but that was not the case. Everything went so smoothly and was handled in such a professional manner and all our anxiety was relieved. I would certainly recommend this company for your future trips. Unforgettable emotions - It was just unforgettable, I was sitting with my mouth open when we were flying around Mount Everest, and I couldn't believe it all. Such huge and majestic mountains, and how small people are by comparison.
Definitely worth seeing at least once in your life and it's a completely different emotion than trekking.
And Dipak, the supervisor, was very caring and attentive, proved himself very professional, you can immediately see that the person is in the topic of all the issues that arise. And the price of a helicopter tour is very good. Definitely recommend this tour!!!
