Kathmandu Valley - The journey begins at Kathmandu Airport, where the helicopter departs for Everest Base Camp, flying over the highest viewpoint in the Base Camp area before continuing to Lukla Airport. The helicopter used is an AIRBUS H125 Eurocopter 350 Model. A brief stop at Lukla is made to refuel. If there are 4-6 passengers, a stop at Pheriche at 4200 meters may be necessary to split the group. The flight to Base Camp departs from 4200 meters.

The first stop is for refueling. This is the airport where trekkers land to begin their trek to Everest Base Camp.

- Mount Everest - Enjoy a stunning Base Camp tour. This flyover offers an excellent opportunity to capture videos and photos of Mount Everest and other towering peaks like Mount Pumori, Lhotse, and Nuptse.
- Syangboche Marg - This is the breakfast landing point during the Everest helicopter flight. Stop at Hotel Everest View (subject to weather). Typically, there is a one-hour stop, and guests should carry USD 31 per person for a set breakfast.
- Kathmandu - Return to Kathmandu from Everest Base Camp by helicopter, with a landing. The flight from Hotel Everest View to Kathmandu via Lukla takes one hour. The captain may choose to fly via Lukla or directly, depending on fuel requirements.

Helicopter Ride to Mount Everest - I had an incredible experience on the Mount Everest helicopter tour with landing at Kala Patthar and breakfast at the Everest View Hotel. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, professional, and stress-free.
The highlight of the trip was definitely landing at Kala Patthar. Standing there surrounded by the Himalayas with a close-up view of Mount Everest was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and something I will never forget. The helicopter flight itself offered breathtaking views of the mountains, glaciers, and valleys throughout the journey.
Breakfast at the Everest View Hotel was another amazing part of the experience. Enjoying a meal while looking out at Everest and the surrounding peaks was absolutely breathtaking. Communication was excellent, everything ran on time, and I felt safe and well looked after throughout the tour.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nepal. Everest region are simply spectacular and speak for themselves!

Great way to see Everest base camp - Our Everest Base Camp trek with helicopter return was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Our guide, Shambhu, was knowledgeable, patient, and always made sure we were safe and comfortable throughout the trek. Our porter, Suman, worked incredibly hard every single day and always had a positive attitude despite the challenging conditions. The views, tea houses, and overall journey exceeded every expectation we had. The helicopter ride back was the perfect ending after reaching Base Camp and seeing the Himalayas up close. We are so grateful to Shambhu and Suman for making this trip such a special and memorable adventure.

Once in a lifetime great experience - It was a wonderful one. Once in a life time experience . Many thanks to Deepak for his outstanding arrangements and making our dream a reality . Really recommend Mr.Deepak for this tour . We were looked after well till the end of journey . Pilot too was a wonderful character we would never forget. Good luck for everybody there.

Dream come true - We booked a helicopter tour on 12th of January 2026. First of all, we were very well taken care of and everything about the flight’s intinerary was explained in detail. The weather was sunny and warm. Our pilot was knowledgeable and showed us the most beautiful part of Himalayas. Also the view from Everest Hotel was amazing. We can gladly recommend this company: not only the service was professional, but also we fulfilled our dream to see Mount Everest and other summits up close.

Landing at Kalapathar! - Absolutely amazing excursion. My friend Erin found this tour which is how we met Dipak. Excellent person that informed us quite well on how the trip would go, about things that may go sideways, and when and where to be. This guy is great. He was in constant contact and even came to our hotel in Thamel the night before to personally describe the trip.
The day started early with a first thing pick-up by Dipak who drove us to the airport. There he connected us with the ramp team to get is out to the helicopter (you actually need a boarding pass!). Easy. I informed Dipak that this was a bucket list thing for me and he got me the front seat for a decent part of the flights. I say flights because the helicopter pilot we flew with, Pasang, is a very highly rated high altitude rescue pilot. During our trip we did have a couple side excursions so Pasang could retrieve sick and injured trekkers. One might think that a bad thing but I take it as a positive as we got to land at other places along the trekking route. Speaking of landings, we actually followed a prop plane into Lukla, the most dangerous runway in the world. Absolutely awesome scene. Anyway we also got to land at Dingboche where we watched yaks and trekkers pass through the small village. There we picked up Vyrom from Perth Australia. Great guy who was trekking to Everest Base Camp when he encountered some oxygen issues. He’s doing well and he and I WhatsApp here and there. Moving on.
The total winning moment was landing at Kalapathar!! Landing above Base Camp and looking down at it from say 18,500 feet is surreal. Bucket list stuff. Pasang told us that helicopters can only go to 20,000 feet! Did not know that we were edging closer to the max than I could have imagined.
I have to say that Pasang, the pilot was extremely accommodating, super knowledgeable, and the consummate professional. We were in safe hands the whole trip.
Oh, and can’t forget Everest View Hotel. It is seriously amazing to come in for a landing amongst 5-6-7 other helicopters all perched on little mounds of dirt in the Everest View Hotel “helicopter parking lot!” Pasang maneuvered us in skillfully. There we had an over priced breakfast but, who cares? I just walked around on Kalapathar looking directly at Mt Everest. 35$ for breakfast is silly but, I did not mind. I did leave a tip for the kind gentleman that served us though.
The flight back was good. I did lose the front seat to a helicopter trainee. Pasang is also a high altitude helicopter flight instructor - go figure.
Upon getting back to the airport, total surprise but we flew right over the heliport and landed right behind some commercial airliners. Totally cool. I guess Pasang has some pull around that place??
A trip like this does cost. But seeing as how we actually got to land at Kalapathar, it was worth it. Other trips only land at Everest View Hotel, that’s awesome too but, not nearly as good as way up there right at the mountain looking down on the glacier, tents, and ant sized people in Everest Base Camp. Trip of a lifetime and yes, I would do it again. Antarctica is next?? Dipak, Can you hook us up??
And in closing, an absolute total thank you to Dipak. Thank you for constant contact, for dinner, for the loaner North Face coats, for everything. OK and a shout out to the Avacado restaurant there in Thamel. Definitely would not have found it without Dipak.

2 nights in Lukla, 2 night at Everest View - Dipak was incredible. He did what he said, and beyond. Our itinerary went flawlessly. We took a helicopter from Kathmandu to spend 2 nights in Lukla, at the Yeti Mountain hotel to help us get acclimatized. From there, we flew up to Everest View Hotel, with a stop at Basecamp. The food and accommodation at both hotels was great. The views were unbelievable. Dipak made everything much easier by picking us up at the airport, in Kathmandu, taking us to our hotel, and taking us back to the airport the next morning. He even took us to dinner at his favourite restaurant. I can't say enough about the trip, or him. Thank you.

They planned a comfortable trip for us, even without detailed input, arranging stay dates perfectly. - I felt incredibly excited during the helicopter ride to see Everest up close. The captains were very attentive, explained everything clearly, and were fully focused on their work. I’m grateful to Adventure White Mountain for arranging a trip that left me completely satisfied. Landing at Kalapatthar - This was the most amazing experience! It was very well organized and made our visit to Nepal a trip of a lifetime. If you want to do a helicopter flight while in Kathmandu, book with White Mountain Adventures. You will not be disappointed.

Everest adventure - We had planned and agonized over this trip for almost a year and if something had gone wrong we would have been so disappointed, but that was not the case. Everything went so smoothly and was handled in such a professional manner and all our anxiety was relieved. I would certainly recommend this company for your future trips. For the best views of Everest! - The views were stunning! The service was outstanding! Dipak went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. Talked to people who booked with other companies who had all sorts of issues. Glad we went with Dipak.
