- Goreme Panorama - Göreme Panorama is a renowned viewpoint in Cappadocia, Turkey, celebrated for its breathtaking panoramic views of the region’s distinctive rock formations and fairy chimneys. It’s an ideal spot for capturing stunning photographs of the landscape.
- Kaymakli Underground City - The Kaymakli Underground City, located beneath the hill known as the Citadel of Kaymakli, opened to visitors in 1964. The residents of Kaymakli (Enegup in Greek) village have built their homes around nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city. The locals still utilize the most accessible areas in the tunnels as cellars, storage spaces, and stables, which they reach through their courtyards. The Kaymakli Underground City features low, narrow, and sloping passages. Although the underground city has 8 floors below ground, only 4 are currently open to the public, with spaces organized around ventilation shafts.
- Pigeon Valley - Pigeon Valley is a favored tourist spot in the Cappadocia region of Turkey, known for its picturesque scenery, rock-cut dovecotes, and hiking trails. Highlights of Pigeon Valley include: Rock-cut dovecotes, carved from the soft volcanic rock by ancient inhabitants, used to raise pigeons for food, offering a unique feature of the valley. Visitors can explore the dovecotes and learn about traditional life in Cappadocia. Hiking is popular in Pigeon Valley, where visitors can trek along the valley and enjoy the stunning scenery and natural rock formations. The valley provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including fairy chimneys, cave dwellings, and other natural wonders of Cappadocia, visible from the top of the valley.
- Goreme Open-Air Museum - The Goreme Open-Air Museum resembles an extensive monastic complex composed of numerous refectory monasteries placed side-by-side, each with its own remarkable church. It is undoubtedly the first site to visit for any traveler in Cappadocia, as it stands centrally in the region with easy access from all directions.
- Uchisar Castle - Uchisar is located at the highest point in Cappadocia, on the Nevsehir-Goreme road, just 5 km from Goreme. The summit of Uchisar Castle offers a magnificent panorama of the surrounding area, with Mount Erciyes visible in the distance.
- Avanos Pottery Workshop - Avanos, a town in the heart of Cappadocia, is famous for its pottery making. A stop at one of the pottery workshops allows visitors to watch a pottery demonstration and even try their hand at it.
- Devrent Valley - Cappadocia is renowned for its unusual rock formations, and Devrent Valley—also known as Imagination Valley—features the densest cluster of these large stones, which seem to take on a life of their own.
- Pasabag - Pasabag in Cappadocia is situated on the road to Zelve, coming from Goreme or Avanos. Here, remarkable earth pillars can be seen in the middle of a vineyard, hence the name “Pacha’s vineyard.” “Pacha” means “General,” a military rank in Turkish, and is a common nickname. This site is also referred to as Monks Valley, named after some cones carved in tuff stones that stand apart. Currently, a vineyard and several tuff cones are located right next to the road.

Cappadocia city tour with Mithat - We had Mithat as our guide for a full-day private Cappadocia city tour, and he was excellent! He has great knowledge about Cappadocia, and the way he explains everything is very clear and engaging. We can say that, he does his job with honesty and dedication.
During the tour, we learned so much about the history and culture of the area. Mithat is not only a great guide but also a very kind and pleasant person.
I highly recommend Mithat if you are planning a trip to Turkey and need a personal guide, don’t miss the chance to contact him!

Informative and friendly guide - Great informative and knowledgeable guide, useful information given and thorough explanation. Good to learn something about the history of the people who lived in the caves rather than just stare at the rooms
