Awesome trip with Payless ! - We took the original tour and add Mumbai and Draramshala to make it 26 Day tour . We loved our experience! Neeraj seems to never sleep 🤣 ! Always replied to us rapidly and took care of all issues . All the drivers are courteous, helpful and gave us a lot of information. All guides are very knowledgeable. Unforgettable trip to Rajasthan - I am a solo traveler and Paylesstour in India has met all my expectations. A very professional and competent driver guide. He transported me all over Rajasthan through this rather chaotic traffic. I had no problem and the agency was always there to take care of me. My Mithu driver will always remain in my memory and thanks to Payless for showing me India and its treasures. I recommend it to everyone.

Wonderful 3- week private tour of Rajastan and Varanasi, India - What we enjoyed the most was that we had been assigned a private cab driver (Mithun), who was not only an excellent and safe driver, but who was also very attentive to our needs, throughout the entire 21 day tour. We loved the many places we visited, and we think we got a good idea of all the splendours of Rajastan. We had upgraded to 4 star hotels, which was also very nice, even though in India 4 stars are not always necessarily the same as 4 stars in Western Europe. We can highly recommend this trip, you will not be disappointed!

Perfect service - We hired Rajasthan Tour by car and driver for our 11 days tour of Rajasthan They offered us a free upgrade to a very comfortable and safe car - Toyota Corolla Altis, along with a very professional driver Mr Akash, who sadly had to interrupt the tour due to unforeseen circumstances. Mr Neeraj provided us immediately with another driver, Mr Mithun, and both did an excellent job. Our driver was always on time and very flexible to accommodate our requests, he also arranged stops for lunch or simply a tea. Mr Neeraj and his team are very reliable and professional.

Very good tour - Total tour arrangements is highly rated since we had a very professionally organized tour with a fantastic driver. One of the most important things was security and clean rooms and that factor was definitely fulfilled. Tiger safari was a success, we saw a beautiful tiger and took plenty of amazing pictures. We loved India and got a deep insight into their culture having met lots of local interactions with the local people and also thanks to our driver who saw us real life of Indian people as well as villages. We love this tour.

Simply the best - We chose this travel agency to make our holidays in India for 6 people and we don't regret. We had a blast there and saw so many beautiful places including TAJ MAHAL and Varanasi. Food was delicious, hotels were fine, with the AC working and a private bathroom. Our personal tour escort Mrs Ewa did her best to show us the most interesting part of Rajasthan including attractions and taking us for Indian family wedding or dinner, where we could taste and see real India. Royal Rajasthan with Veranasi (22days) with 3 day add-on to Amritsar - Pay Less Tours India organized the Royal Rajasthan with Veranasi Tour (22 days), with a 3 day add-on trip to Amritsar for my 16 year old grandson and myself that ended on March 11, 2020. ITINERARY: The very extensive on-line itinerary and tour highlights gave us a great introduction into the most popular sights in these areas. Unfortunately, several of these highlights were not provided. This area received a rating of 4. TRANSPORTATION: The small cars used by our drivers were clean and tidy and without any problems. The airline travel from Varanasi to New Delhi and from Amritsar to New Delhi was fine with no problems. Rating of 5. ACCOMMODATIONS / FOOD: Overall, the accommodations were 3 star, as advertised, and the breakfasts were acceptable...with two EXCEPTIONS: We would rate our first hotel, Hotel LaVista in Delhi and the Golden_______B&B in Varanasi below 3 star. Overall, we would give a rating of 4. DRIVERS/GUIDES: Near the end of our trip, we had 2 drivers that took us around Veranasi and to Amritsar...which consumed just over 4 days. For the bulk of our trip, 20 days, our driver was Sanjay Kumar. Following are some of the more noteworthy experiences with our DRIVER/GUIDE, SANJAY: - Either the first or second night in Delhi Sanjay invited us to have dinner at his small apartment where his wife prepared a nice Indian meal. We were both excited to have this personal experience. - RECKLESS/AGGRESSIVE DRIVING: The ride to our next destination, Mandawa, was an unforgettable experience! As you may not know, this part of India is full of some roads that are new and many that are in bad condition, are under construction or repair, have numerous detours, pot holes, speed bumps, etc. This didn't stop our driver from speeding as fast as he could, weaving in and out of heavy traffic, jamming on the brakes to avoid an object in the road, and constantly leaning on his horn to pass the vehicle in front of him...even when there was a vehicle on the other side of the road coming at us! There were other unsafe driving actions exhibited throughout our trip. - IGNORED REQUEST: On 3 separate occasions I asked Sanjay to stop so that I could pick up a loaf of bread. Even though it would not have involved going out of his way, or having him involved in "searching" for this item, he just ignored my request. - TIP: Payless Tours India guidance made the statement," suggested tip for the driver was $5". Since I wanted to make sure that I set aside enough $ to cover the tips for our drivers/guides, I wrote to the company "....so, if your tour was 20 days, you would tip him $100... is that correct? " The response was "yes. - "SANJAY'S ANGER: Not too long after this, Sanjay looked me straight in the eye and waving his finger at me, he said, "on Saturday (?) you pay me my tip!" there was absolutely no "suggestion"...it was clearly a DEMAND. I said yes. From this point on, it was obvious that he was unhappy with having us as his client. - INTIMIDATION: The night before arriving in Veranasi, Sanjay came into the dining room of the hotel where we were staying and having dinner. He sat down across from me and then reached over to take a piece of my pizza...without asking! He then proceeded to talk to my grandson, as if I was not even there. He looked him straight in the eye and started to scribble on a piece of paper the following questions that my grandson needed to answer on TripAdvisor: ( this is a paraphrase of the questions; basically, it was an evaluation of the tour.) *How was the tour? *How was the driver/guide? * How were the hotels/food? * Etc. Sanjay completed his directive with the comment, "say what you like, but a "bad word" will mean I will lose my job!" I pointed out to Sanjay, that I had been on many tours, and there was never a requirement to provide an evaluation directly to the individual providing the service. Evaluations were always provided anonymously to the company. I objected strongly to Sanjay's approach, and pointed out that it was not very professional. He was putting a sixteen-year-old boy on the spot through intimidation. - DEMANDS LARGER TIP! : Immediately after this, Sanjay got up from the table, and in a loud voice, said to me, "How much was this tour?" I replied, "I don't know" (I, honestly, just didn't remember.) This went on for 3 times, in louder voices. Then Sanjay said, you pay 20% to driver!! This came as quite a shock. After returning home I looked at my bills and I think that our tour came close to $3000. So, I should have paid Sanjay $600...right? With the median income in India around $1600, getting a tip of $600 for 20 days of leading a tour is pretty exorbitant...and his manner was unacceptable and rude! While tempted to pay him $0, I did pay him $250 for all the drivers (double of what was "suggested".) - LOUD MUSIC: On this trip we frequently traveled long distances where there was no communication from Sanjay for long periods of time. During these times, Sanjay would be listening to Indian music at a loud level. At one time I asked my grandson, Sammy, "don't you find the volume level to be too high?" Then he told me that he did; and when Sanjay stepped out of the car, my grandson turned down the volume! But when Sanjay returned, the volume went back up! - Based on the totality of Sanjay's actions, many not cited here, I give Sanjay a rating of 1 - TOUR OPERATOR: Prior to going public with my evaluation, I submitted a VERY LONG, HONEST, AND DETAILED DESCRIPTION of what transpired on our tour to Pay Less Tours India with the objective of possibly helping them in maintaining and improving the services that they provide. The manager of the company, Neeraj Sharma, was appreciative of my very detailed review of the tour and especially information on the behavior of the driver, Sanjay. While pointing out that many people have been very happy with Sanjay's service, Neeraj concluded that "apparently, something has changed and we must do something to prevent such situations in the future." Neeraj has been very prompt in responding to my inquiries and to my evaluation. I have confidence that he will do his best to address the problems that I brought to his attention. His company deserves a rating of 5. - OVERALL RATING: 3 This lower rating is due primarily to the actions and behavior of the principal driver/guide.
