Great tour experience for golden triangle - This tour perfectly met our needs. My review below shares details, but overall, we were treated so well, always supported by a driver and manager or tour guide, and were able to shape our tour based on our interests. Outstanding tour guides and staff were the highlights. I would have liked to have received some of the details a little earlier. That’s my only “complaint”. For instance, other tours usually respond almost immediately upon purchase, I didn’t receive info until we were already traveling to India for this one. But this is really a mild issue. Also, we went to some standard shops that are typical on Indian tours. I did not feel pressured though. I didn’t like anything at the shop in Agra, but it was nice to have an air con break with bathrooms and water so we looked at all the wares. In Jaipur, I wanted block printing so we went to a store for that. I’m sure I overpaid, but had some lovely duvet covers made which are nice quality. I also had some local recommendations and those visits were also nicely accommodated. This was really a strong door-to-door golden triangle tour. Now the details…We took the train Delhi to Agra. We were collected at our hotel by driver KK Sharma and taken to the train station where we met our "guy". I’m not sure which was Sunil or sahil. We were treated so well. Walked into the station and all the way onto the train. The train station is an entire experience in India! We were situated in our seats before he left us for the trip. The train ride was a couple hours and lovely. We had tea but didn’t ever get the breakfast included in the train trip. Mukesh was our driver for the Agra-Jaipur trip and touring each city. He was safe and managed to get us safely between cities despite the incredibly wild driving on the highway between cities! Our tour guide in Agra was Rocky/Praveen. Wow. I’ve already recommended him to others. He gave us such an efficient tour of Taj Majal and other sites, which is exactly what we wanted. I’d been before, so didn’t want a formal photographer. Rocky was BORN to be a photographer and positioned us at all the right spots. We never felt rushed but we were never bored. Really, the perfect tour. Again, the drive between cities was wild. This was scary for me and I’ve traveled the roads of India before. Frankly, concerns over road transport are why we took the train on some legs. But Mukesh got us there in one piece. He was focused and experienced. In Jaipur, we stayed at the KK Royal, which was a nice stay. Breakfast was just okay. The view from the room of the red fort was incredible and we enjoyed watching the resident monkeys from our room. At the end of a day of touring, we needed comfy sleeping and we had that for sure! Day two was a tour of Jaipur. Our tour guide was also amazing. Unfortunately, I’ve waited too long since the tour to write my review and don’t have any messages from him with his name! He knew all the history and agreed to take us to a local boutique shop so I could get the items I wanted. He also took photos of us and managed to show so much of Jaipur to us in a short time. He also accompanied us to the train. The return trip from Jaipur to Delhi was not as nice as Delhi-Agra, in that it was longer and my husband and I were not seated together. We got in late in the evening, but on time, and were collected by the same driver and manager who brought us to the train station at the start. We went back to our hotel near the airport with no problems. I’d definitely recommend this tour to others. I’d suggest five star accommodation. It would be nice if there was a bit more communication prior and return train tickets would have been purchased earlier so they were together. These are really minor issues to make the tour company aware. I’d use the tour company again for other tours in India and look forward to doing so on future trips. Thank you!

golden triangle in 2 days ! - met at hotel at 5am and put on right train to agra where we were met by driver and the first of 2 guides- rocky was knowledgeable and very aware of where to taake the best photos - also organised wheelchair pusher at taj mahal and red fort.then quite along drive with prem our excellent driver to jaipur. excellent room and breakfast at the hilton . both lunches provided were indian and very good standard.Ashok the second guide for jaipur was excellent and nothing was too much trouble with wheelchair organised and souvenirs bought reasonably. There was shopping and most of the visits were interesting and we bought a few items but also said clearly not interested in buying carpets or jewellery.long drive back to new delhi by car as brought us back to our hotel earlier than the train would have . very well orgaanised and then got them to take us to the airport the next day to fly out . highly recommend- do allow for gratuities for guides who rely on the extra you pay and driver and organise small change for luggage porters etc

Wonderful service, amazing experience - We had an overall excellent experience on our tour. Before our travel dates, company CEO Raj Sharma helpfully communicated with us on details and options. All of the logistics went smoothly, and the escorts to and from the train stations were especially helpful - the stations would definitely have been a bit chaotic and intimidating otherwise! Our driver, Prem, who stayed with us both days and for the long drive between Agra and Jaipur, was friendly and helpful. Our guides, Tony in Agra and Ashok in Jaipur, were knowledgeable and professional and made sure everything ran smoothly, down to identifying the best picture spots and helping navigate aggressive vendors. Ashok in particular was a delightful companion and incredible resource for our day in Jaipur. And the sites themselves were of course amazing. It's hard for anything to compete with the Taj Mahal - it would be worth a visit all by itself - but we really loved our time in Jaipur also. Our hotel for the night (The Lemon Tree) was very nice, our lunch at a local restaurant was delicious, Amber Fort was gorgeous, the City Palace museum was great, and we learned a ton at the fascinating Jantar Mantar. It was a packed but well organized itinerary, and the time at each site felt sufficient for us. The shopping excursions in both Agra and Jaipur may not be for everyone's tastes - the sales pitches at the shops can be a bit heavy-handed by US standards - but we ended up happy with the purchases we made (just remember you're never required to buy anything!). It was a trip of a lifetime for us, and we'd definitely recommend Nikita Holidays and our guides, for anyone considering a visit.

We just completed our 2 day golden... -
We just completed our 2 day golden triangle tour and loved it. Raj Sharma, the Indian representative/ manager, was in touch with us prior to our trip which was incredibly helpful and reassuring. He tailored our tour to perfectly suit our needs and responded quickly to any and all requests we had. We liked our tour guide, Rocky, in Agra and we especially liked our guide, Ashok, in Jaipur. I would highly recommend this tour if you have limited time and want to see all of the important sites.

The overall experience was... -
The overall experience was fantastic! The staff and all locations were knowledgable and very accommodating. Great intro to the golden triangle.

The only issue we experienced was the elephant ride at Amber Fort in Jaipur. Your brochure advertises ascend the imposing fort on a decorated painted elephant and before I booked the trip, I reconfirmed with a member of your company that this was part of the tour package and there were no additional charges and was told yes. Well, before we depart Agra, the tour company management approached me and said if we wanted to do the elephant ride, we needed to pay extra. After a very uncomfortable conversation, I'm sure for both parties, we came to the agreement that our group was not going to pay anything additional and still receive the service advertised. My recommendation, is to either change want is advertised or ensure the tour companies you use at the distant end clearly understand what they are required to provide so that the visitor isn't dealing with this type of situation on their vacation.

First I should thank the man behind... -
First I should thank the man behind the scene Mr Raj Sharma for organising a fantastic tour for us. From the time Sunil Kumar picked us from the hotel we felt that we are confident of what to come. It became really colourful and enjoyable with our Jaipur Guide Mr Farooq. He was the best guide we ever had so far in our Indian tours. not only he listened to all our requests but also his suggestions made it a remarkable memory. We were little worried when the train reached Jaipur little late the surrounding was dark, but when we saw the young silent driver with our names with him we were happy, Dara Singh did his best to make us calm and comfortable. We also got better accommodation than what we were expecting for the total price we paid for. If not for our cancelling Agra shopping part that left us doing nothing for 4 hours in a hotel lobby for the fear of getting ripped off - that we experienced before we would have given five stars for this
excellent tour.
