Humayun’s Tomb - Begin the day with a 9am pick-up to visit Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This is the resting place of Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi. The tomb features an arched facade adorned with white marble and red sandstone, adhering to Islamic geometric principles, particularly the significance of the number eight.

Qutub Minar - Visit Qutub Minar, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This impressive Afghan-style victory tower and minaret was constructed by Sultan Qutb-ud-din in 1193 to assert his dominance over the defeated Hindu rulers of Qila Rai Pithora.

Lotus Temple - Experience tranquility at Delhi’s stunning Lotus Temple (closed on Mondays). Shaped like a lotus flower with 27 white-marble petals, the temple invites visitors to pray or meditate silently, embracing all faiths.

India Gate - This grand 42-meter-high stone memorial arch, designed by Lutyens in 1921, honors approximately 90,000 Indian army soldiers who perished in WWI, the Northwest Frontier operations, and the 1919 Anglo-Afghan War.

Parliament House - The circular, colonnaded Parliament House, designed by Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, was the site of the 1947 transfer of power from Britain to independent India, and it continues to host parliamentary sessions.

Rashtrapati Bhavan - Rashtrapati Bhavan, or the President’s House, is the official residence of India’s President. Formerly the British Viceroy’s home, it boasts 340 rooms and 2.5 km of corridors, offering a fascinating glimpse inside.

Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - Amidst Old Delhi’s chaos, the capital’s largest mosque, built on a 10-meter elevation, stands as a serene oasis. Accommodating up to 25,000 people, this marble and red-sandstone structure, also known as the ‘Friday Mosque,’ was Shah Jahan’s final architectural masterpiece, completed between 1644 and 1658.

Chandni Chowk - Enjoy an exhilarating bicycle rickshaw ride (at your own expense) through the vibrant and bustling streets of Chandni Chowk (Silver Street).

Raj Ghat - Located on the Yamuna River’s banks, this peaceful, well-maintained park features a simple black-marble platform marking Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation site following his 1948 assassination.

Swaminarayan Akshardham - Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple (closed on Mondays) is Delhi’s largest temple, built in 2005, and is stunningly opulent. Artisans used ancient techniques to carve the pale red sandstone into intricate reliefs, including 20,000 deities, saints, and mythical creatures. The centerpiece is a 3-meter-high gold statue of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan, surrounded by more intricate carvings.

Delhi - Agra (3-4 Hrs Drive) & Half Day Agra Sightseeing

Agra - After breakfast, embark on a 3-hour drive to Agra, the City of the Taj Mahal, passing through picturesque countryside. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel.

Agra Fort - In the afternoon, visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This historical fort along the Yamuna River in Agra was the main residence of Mughal emperors until 1638 and is one of India’s finest Mughal forts. As you explore the palatial red-sandstone and marble fortress, the grandeur of its construction becomes increasingly apparent.

Mehtab Bagh - In the evening, enjoy a photo tour of the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh, the moonlit garden, believed to have been designed by Shah Jahan for moonlit views of the Taj Mahal, away from the crowds. The garden complex, located on the Yamuna’s left bank opposite the Taj Mahal, is a vast square measuring approximately 300x300 meters, perfectly aligned with the Taj Mahal. Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour & Drive Abhaneri (Chand Baori) - Jaipur (4-5 Hrs Drive)

Taj Mahal - Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned as the world’s most beautiful building. Built by Shah Jahan as a memorial for his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died during childbirth in 1631, the Taj Mahal’s enchanting allure is sure to be a tour highlight. (Note: The Taj Mahal is closed to tourists every Friday, so if your visit is scheduled for a Friday, you will visit the Taj Mahal at sunset the previous day). Return to the hotel for breakfast, then check out and drive to Jaipur, the Pink City.

Chand Baori (Step well) - En route to Jaipur, visit Abhaneri, a small village known for its remarkable ‘Baoris’ (step wells) and Harshat Mata Temple. Chand Baori is one of Rajasthan’s most spectacular step wells, a unique invention for rainwater harvesting. It is one of India’s deepest and largest step wells, with a huge tank adorned with delicate carvings, offering a visual delight.

Jaipur - After visiting Abhaneri, continue the drive to Jaipur, the Pink City. Upon arrival, check into the hotel.

Amber Palace - Amber Fort, a magnificent and imposing honey-hued fort, is an ethereal example of Rajput architecture. It rises from a rocky mountainside about 11 km northeast of Jaipur and is the city’s must-see attraction. The extensive palace complex, built from pale yellow and pink sandstone and white marble, is divided into four main sections, each with its own courtyard.

Jal Mahal - Stop for a photo at Jal Mahal (Water Palace), beautifully situated in the watery expanse of Man Sagar, near the cenotaphs of Jaipur’s maharanis. Its origins are uncertain, but it is believed to have been extensively restored, if not built, by Jai Singh II in 1734.

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - Stop for a photo at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jaipur’s most distinctive landmark. This extraordinary pink-painted, delicately honeycombed hive rises five dizzying storeys. Constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, it allowed royal ladies to observe city life and processions.

City Palace of Jaipur - The City Palace, home to the royal family, is a complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings. It features palace buildings from various eras, some dating back to the early 20th century, showcasing a striking blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.

Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - Jantar Mantar Observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a collection of curving geometric structures meticulously designed to monitor celestial movements.

Monkey Temple - Conclude the day with a visit to the 15th-century Galtaji Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple, renowned for its intricate structure. It features three sacred water pools and is flanked by two granite cliffs, where numerous monkeys can be seen bathing.
