Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this massive fort, also known as Lal Qila (Red Fort) or Qila-i-Akbari, symbolizes Agra and is often referred to as a walled city. Made of red sandstone, it was once the Mughal residence.

Mehtab Bagh - Mehtab Bagh, meaning “Moonlight Garden,” is a historic Mughal-era garden on the Yamuna River’s banks, directly opposite the Taj Mahal. Emperor Shah Jahan identified this site for its beautiful view of the Taj Mahal at sunset.
