Lotus Temple - The Lotus Temple, located in Delhi, India, is a Baháʼí House of Worship that opened in December 1986. Known for its flower-like shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. Like all other Bahá’í Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or other qualifications. The building consists of 27 free-standing marble-clad “petals” arranged in groups of three to form nine sides, with nine doors opening onto a central hall with a height of just over 34 meters and a capacity of 1,300 people. The Lotus Temple has received numerous architecture awards and has been featured in many newspaper and magazine articles.
Qutub Minar - The Qutub Minar is a minaret and “victory tower” that forms part of the Qutb complex, located at the site of Delhi’s oldest fortified city, Lal Kot, founded by the Tomar Rajputs. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mehrauli area of South Delhi, India. Qutub Minar is a 72.5-meter tall tapering tower of five storeys, with a 14.3-meter base diameter, reducing to 2.7 meters at the top.
Humayun’s Tomb - Humayun’s Tomb is the resting place of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun’s first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad, Persian architects chosen by her.

Mumtaz, Shah Jahan’s third wife, was renowned for her exceptional beauty, and the emperor was deeply devoted to her. Heartbroken by her sudden death, it is said that the emperor turned grey-haired overnight. Construction of the Taj began in 1631, but it wasn’t until 1653 that the monument was completed in its current form.
Agra Fort - Agra Fort is a historic fort in the city of Agra, India. It served as the main residence of the Mughal Dynasty emperors until 1638, when the capital was moved from Agra to Delhi. The Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is located about 2.5 km northwest of its more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal. The fort can be more accurately described as a walled city. After the First Battle of Panipat in 1526, the victorious Babur stayed in the fort, in the palace of Ibrahim Lodi.
Itmad-ud-Daula - The Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb is one of Agra’s most impressive architectural wonders. This monument is considered to be the inspiration behind the Taj Mahal, earning it the nickname “Baby Taj Mahal.” Many tourists visiting Agra for the Taj Mahal also seek out the Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb.
Fatehpur Sikri - Fatehpur Sikri is a town located in the Agra district of Uttar Pradesh, India’s largest state. It is situated about 40 km from Agra. This town beautifully showcases Mughal architecture in India. It was in Fatehpur Sikri that Akbar established his Navaratnas. Historically significant, Fatehpur Sikri was built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in the sixteenth century.

City Palace of Jaipur - The City Palace, Jaipur is a royal residence and former administrative headquarters of the rulers of the Jaipur State in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Construction began soon after the establishment of the city of Jaipur under the reign of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who moved his court to Jaipur from Amber in 1727.
Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - The Jantar Mantar, Jaipur is a collection of 19 astronomical instruments built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The monument was completed in 1734. It features the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is near City Palace and Hawa Mahal.
