Humayun’s Tomb - Humayun’s Tomb is a historically significant mausoleum in Delhi, India, constructed in 1570 for the second Mughal emperor, Humayun. It was commissioned by Humayun’s wife, Empress Bega Begum, and designed by Persian architects Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad.
The tomb houses the remains of Humayun, Empress Bega Begum, Dara Shikoh, Emperor Jahandar Shah, and Alamgir II. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.
Qutub Minar - The Qutub Minar is one of India’s most iconic landmarks, situated in Delhi. Built in the 12th century, it is a remarkable example of Indo-Islamic architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The minaret stands at an impressive 72.5 meters (238 feet), making it the tallest brick minaret globally. It was erected during the reign of Qutab-ud-din Aibak, the founder of the Delhi Sultanate. The Qutub Minar complex also includes other historical structures, such as the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque and the Iron Pillar.
Lotus Temple - The Lotus Temple is a Baháʼí House of Worship located in New Delhi, India. Designed by Iranian architect Fariborz Sahba, it opened to the public in December 1986. The Lotus Temple has received numerous architectural awards and has been featured in various newspapers and magazines.
The temple is a nine-sided structure, reflecting the Baháʼí belief in the mystical properties of the number nine. It is set on an elevated plinth within a 26-acre expanse of landscaped gardens and is surrounded by nine pools bordered by red sandstone walkways.
The white marble edifice rises to a height of over 130 feet. The temple complex comprises 27 independent marble “petals,” grouped into clusters of three to form nine sides. The Lotus Temple welcomes all visitors, regardless of religion or any other qualification.
India Gate - This magnificent 42-meter-high stone memorial arch was designed by Lutyens in 1921. It honors the nearly 90,000 Indian Army soldiers who lost their lives in World War I, the North-West Frontier Campaigns, and the Anglo-Afghan War of 1919.
Parliament House - This circular, columned building, designed by Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, is where the transfer of power from Britain to newly independent India occurred in 1947, and where Parliament still convenes today.
Rashtrapati Bhavan - Rashtrapati Bhavan, or the President’s House, is the official residence of the President of India. Formerly the home of the British Viceroy, Rashtrapati Bhavan boasts 340 rooms and 2.5 km of corridors, offering a fascinating glimpse inside.
Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - A serene haven amidst the bustling Old Delhi, the capital’s largest mosque stands 10 meters high, far above the surrounding noise. It can accommodate up to 25,000 people at once. Constructed of marble and red sandstone, this building, also known as the ‘Friday Mosque,’ was Shah Jahan’s last architectural masterpiece, built between 1644 and 1658.
Chandni Chowk - The highlight of this trip is an exhilarating cycle rickshaw ride (at own expense) through the vibrant and colorful streets of Chandni Chowk (Silver Street).
Raj Ghat - This peaceful, well-maintained park, located on the banks of the Yamuna River, features a simple black marble platform marking the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination in 1948.

Agra - After breakfast, embark on a 3-hour drive to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal, passing through beautiful countryside via expressway. Upon arrival, the guide will meet you at the hotel and assist with check-in.
Agra Fort - In the afternoon, visit Agra Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - a historic fort located on the banks of the Yamuna River in Agra. It served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638 and is one of India’s finest Mughal forts. As you explore one courtyard after another of this magnificent fort made of red sandstone and marble, the grandeur of the construction becomes increasingly apparent.
Mehtab Bagh - Begin the Taj Mahal photo tour in the evening from Mehtab Bagh - the garden of moonlit nights - believed to have been designed by Shah Jahan to view the Taj on moonlit nights, away from the bustling crowds. The garden complex is situated on the left bank of the Yamuna, opposite the Taj Mahal.
It is a vast square of about 300x300 meters and aligns directly with the Taj Mahal. Forest plantations and agricultural fields provide a green forecourt to the Taj Mahal and its reflection in the Yamuna. Here, you can watch the sunset over the Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal - Visit the Taj Mahal (UNESCO World Heritage Site) at sunrise - considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. It was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died giving birth to their 14th child in 1631.
The enchanting allure of the Taj Mahal will undoubtedly be the highlight of your tour. (Please note that the Taj Mahal is closed to visitors every Friday, so if your scheduled visit day is Friday, you should visit the Taj Mahal at sunset the day before). Return to the hotel and enjoy breakfast. Check out after breakfast and drive to the Pink City, Jaipur.
Fatehpur Sikri - Fatehpur Sikri, constructed by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century, served as the capital of the Mughal Empire for over 10 years. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and houses the Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques.
It features many impressive buildings, such as the Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, and Jodha Bai’s Palace. It showcases a blend of native and Persian architectural styles. It was abandoned due to a lack of water. It is considered an important example of Mughal architecture and a testament to the civilization of the time.
Jaipur - After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, continue the drive to the Pink City, Jaipur, and check in to the hotel upon arrival.
