Outstanding tour! - Outstanding tour! Our driver, Lalit, was absolutely superb and did an incredible job driving us around everywhere. He was very reliable and friendly and even invited us to his home in Jaipur. All the local guides were friendly and knowledgeable and the hotels were very comfortable. All in all an extremely well organised tour and a fantastic time in India. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience, too much to take in! - The tour was an amazing an experience, Gopal and team delivered on all their promises and would definitely recommend them. The communication was very efficient, and they took care of all reservations and planning. We learned a lot about the history in each of the cities, Delhi, Agra and Jaipur from the highly skilled guides (a local guide in each city). The "4 star" hotels were great, with more than adequate breakfasts. Our driver, Abdul, was absolutely amazing how he was able to navigate the traffic and avoiding the bumps in the road. He kept us always on time, cool and we easy to communicate with friendly chats. He was with us from the beginning all the way to the end. We left the tour with hundreds of beautiful pictures and some great memories. As stated in another review as well, in each city there was some education on the local crafts, with the opportunity to buy and save money. If you really want something make sure you know what you are buying and understand the pricing, everything is negotiable. A polite 'No thank you, we are not interested in buying' takes the pressure away. A description of these sites in the itinerary would be nice, so you are able to customize (for example we had 2 tapestry factories in 2 different cities) On our last day In Jaipur the driver brought us to a store with fixed pricing, the prices there seemed more reasonable. Going back to our tour, we couldn't have had the experience without the expertise of the team, and we thoroughly enjoyed this trip. What would I do differently ? - Try to plan for more downtime, doing full days of sightseeing and trying to take in all the information can be exhausting, it is a packed schedule. On our last day we visited the Jhalana Safari, and saw 3 leopards, which made for a great send off. Tip for the Safari: dress warm, early in the morning it was only 13 degrees, before sunrise. Bring a facemask, in the back of the jeeps it will get dusty. Overall we had an amazing experience, thanks to Gopal and his team!

Excellent private trip in the Golden Triangle - As a couple, we did a 6 day private tour of the Golden Triangle, visiting Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. Gopal, our trip coordinator was very responsive with planning our trip, customizing the itinerary and supporting during the trip. The hotels we chose were 4 star rated, and very clean with good amenities. All the hotels included breakfast and had great dinner options. The hotels also provided complimentary bottled water for guests. Our driver, Yogesh, was a skilled driver and made sure to get us place to place on time. Yogesh helped coordinate all our day tours and guides smoothly. The car was new, comfortable and had AC. Our itinerary was well planned out and we visited various monuments and popular sights every day, with a private guide giving us history information at every site. We especially enjoyed the Taj Mahal at sunrise. It was a spectacular sight and the highlight of our tour. We highly recommend Golden Triangle Tours for foreigners who are looking for an affordable private trip in India. It is difficult to get around on your own in India, and this tour took away all the stress of coordinating, and helped us experience the highlights without any hassle. We felt safe during the entire trip, when accompanied by the guides or driver.

The best team for a Golden Triangle Tour by far! - Thanks Gopal and GTT team for a fantastic vacation. My wife and I have just finished our Golden Triangle Tour organised by Gopal and delivered by the fantastic driver Mahendra, who is so much more than a driver! Mahendra took care of us from airport pick up to airport drop off, always with a smile. He made the vacation special! Personally I would recommend asking for Mahendra. Mention should also go to the guides at each location: Shiva in Delhi, Ahmed in Agra, Shanu at Fatehpur Siri and Satish in Jaipur. The knowledge and enthusiasm they have for their areas is impressive. Would highly recommend GTT to anyone looking for a Golden Triangle vacation.

Great Value Tour with Excellent Driver and Professional Guides - February 2023: My partner and I had a very good experience with Golden Triangle Tours. We did a custom 6-night, 7-day tour of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, with Vinod as our driver. Travelling with Vinod was a really great experience! He was patient and calm with all the traffic and obstacles on the roads, and was very quick and skillful in navigating the many hazards and unpredictable situations. He always provided clear instructions and advice to make our trip a smooth one, and showed great care in providing good service, such as keeping the car well-stocked with provisions, and well-maintained for a clean and comfortable journey. Always punctual and friendly, Vinod made our journey very easy and pleasant, and we cannot thank him enough. Thank-you, Vinod-ji! We are truly grateful for having met you and having had the chance to travel northern India together. The tour itself was wonderful. We hit all the major touristy sites we wanted to see, and the itinerary also had some local knowledge and flavour mixed in. The guides were helpful, informative and highly professional - even recommending optimal locations for quality pictures. Each day had a lot crammed in, but we never felt overwhelmed or exhausted. For major attractions, like the Taj Mahal, we always felt we were getting there at the optimal time. This company really seems to know what they're doing. The pricing was also very reasonable compared to other, similar itineraries. The tradeoff may be that you have to go to some local tourist traps where the vendors try and sell you things, but we came in expecting that, so we were prepared to entertain the sales pitches. We bought some things and declined others, but generally felt in control. We were more than happy to make this tradeoff, given the cost savings. Our contact at the company was Gopal, who was very helpful and responsive. He was patient with our requests and helped us to set everything up. He even met us in Jaipur to check in on how the tour was going. All in all, we really enjoyed our trip with Golden Triangle Tours! As long as you're prepared for the sales pitches, we would highly recommend!

Best tour company ( solo female traveller) - I did 4 different tours while in India and Golden triangle tour was by far the best. First off the company was very communicate and flexible with plans and changes I needed made. My driver Mr Surendra was awesome. I'm a very punctual person and he was always available on time, always cross checked the plan and as a single female traveller made me feel exceptionally safe. His driving was excellent. I had 3 tour guides - Delhi ( see 1st photo, can't remember his name) but he was the perfect combination of historian and photographer and seemed to be very passionate about his job. - Agra- Anil Kumar pic 2- If you want awesome photos, try to get him. I'm not even a person that cares about photos but he brought out the model in me as his shots are just amazing. And on top of that he is very knowledgeable about all things Agra which you will need to fully grasp the scale of the monuments and buildings there. He was perfect. Jaipur- ( I'm so bad with names, see pic 3) - I find it hard to believe that anyone is more passionate than him about Jaipur. The sheer amount of information he can give out I'd astonishing. Without him, Jaipur would have just been buildings. With him, it was a tapestry of history, culture and pride. Hotels - I was very happy with my hotels, I did make one change as my friends really wanted me to stay at a specific one in Jaipur and golden added on other features to my tour to compensate without me asking. I highly recommend them.

Quality at a reasonable price! - My son and I had an incredible tour with Golden Triangle Tours India. Gopal carefully planned out each portion of the tour and we managed a mix of cultural, historical and scenic (we went to Ranthambore to see the tigers) experiences. Our driver Maan was friendly, professional and safe (outstanding driving skills). He always went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and provided additional information along the way. If you happen to include Ranthambore, I would upgrade to the smaller safari vehicles. It’s worth paying extra for. Zones 2 and 3 were best for our tiger sightings (but this may vary by season?). I would recommend at least a few safaris to increase yours odds. Gopal even helped us after our tour had ended and we had an emergency. We were incredibly gracious for his help. It’s hard to find quality at a reasonable price, this trip has both.

Run - don’t walk to book your tour of India with Golden Triangle Tours!! - Despite being an avid traveller having used many great tour services over the years, I rarely find the time to sit down afterwards and write a review, but our trip to India with Gopal’s company Golden Triangle Tours would not be complete without a glowing review! Our group consisted of a range of ages from my 8-year old son to my 70-year old parents and everyone who came has described this holiday as a trip of a lifetime! In their organising - Gopal and team leave no stone unturned. We did a 6 day tour of the golden triangle starting at Jaipur, then to Agra and finishing in Delhi. And they organised all of it from transport, to hotels to tour guides and even arranged for us to participate in the festival of colour with Gopal and his family!! The biggest shoutout must go to our driver Suresh and his assistant Kamal who by the end of the trip felt like members of the family. They were awesome - always watching out for us, driving incredibly safely in the chaotic India traffic in a super clean and luxurious vehicle yet making sure we reached each destination in a timely manner so we could explore everything to its fullest!! We also had incredible tour guides, again arranged by Gopal, in both Jaipur (Satees) and in Agra (Malik) who were so knowledgeable, friendly and just amazing at their jobs!! And then the tour guide again in Amritsar (Ajit). They really made it!! The hotels that were booked for us were fabulous - especially the Raddison in Agra which had a rooftop view of the Taj Mahal!! From your first enquiry to even after your trip with them has ended Golden Triangle Tours are incredibly responsive via WhatsApp and no question is too much trouble. We will return to India and I will not hesitate to book with this company again!

Great tour and driver, watch out for high-pressure souvenir seeling - The tour was great overall. So interesting to see and learn about Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The "4 star" hotels were great, with more than adequate breakfasts. Our driver, Sanjeev, was absolutely amazing. He was always on time, friendly, and thorough. He was with us from the beginning all the way to the end. The different tour guides in each city were a little more varied in quality, some were good while others excellent. We left the tour with hundreds of beautiful pictures and some great memories. The main concern I had was that in each city, there seemed to be "required" shopping. The tour guide in each city would take us to a specific store where we would need to sit and hear a presentation. Some of that was initially interesting, but then having to say "no" every day on the tour at different shops became tiresome after a while. At one store selling red sandstone crafts, we decided to buy one item and the tour guide repeatedly asked us to buy more -- which was very unwelcome. Also, at one store we were told that it was a "government store" implying higher quality and fair prices - but we could not find evidence that it was indeed a government store. Definitely do not pay list price for anything, and after checking prices online, I felt cheated. This leaves a bad taste in your mouth and should not be part of a paid tour. The itinerary we were given was not at all transparent that daily shopping was part of the deal. I took pictures of some of the stores we went to so others can do research ahead of time. At Jhalana Safari, we spent several hours and did not see a leopard. This may be a relatively common situation so this extra tour may not be worthwhile.
