Bucket list item - Totally well-executed in every respect, and the Taj Mahal itself completely lives up to the hype. Truly one of the wonders of the world.

Incredible Taj Mahal - The Taj Mahal is a permanent statement of one man's love for his wife. The intricate details of its marble carvings and colour stone inlays were mind-blowing.

The trip and activity was... - The trip and activity was exactly as described. Our driver was promptly on time at 8 am and we drove off to Agra which took about 3 hours to get too. Our guide was picked up there and he was pleasant and informative. We had some rain issues (as expected given it was monsoon season) but it was all in all a good day. We had lunch at the Marriott (buffet) which was perfectly fine. We arrived back in Delhi at 9 pm, it could have been earlier but the rain had delayed us at the Taj Mahal for about 2 hours. All in all this is a solid choice abs they gave us exactly what we wanted and exactly what was described. No hidden fees or tricks.

Fantastic and informative - We booked onto the "All Inclusive Day Trip to Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj from Delhi by Car", we were picked up at 2:30am from our hotel and started the journey over the Agra. The driver (Surinder) was great and stopped a couple of times for toilet breaks and made sure we got everywhere on time. We met our guide (Ajay) in Agra and he was a fantastic guide, he gave us lots of information about the Taj Mahal, Baby Taj and Agra Fort (information that you wouldn't find by going by yourself) and knew all the good photo spots to get great pics of the trip. We went at the end of June so all locations were nice and quiet with not too many crowds and going for sunrise meant we missed most of the heat. The breakfast was a decent buffet, but might've been nice to go somewhere that wasn't a hotel. Other than that we had a fantastic day and it's definitely worth the money!

Respond politely - The driver was kind and always caring. I was able to finish it comfortably with water after writing a sweat and comments to support my trip to India. The guides were also very helpful with the explanation and smooth guidance. However, I was disappointed that they took me to a souvenir shop, perhaps because of the incentive.

Not what I expected - I used Crystal India Holidays services for this trip. I made the purchase through the Viator website. They were punctual at departure. The driver was waiting for me at the reception at the appointed time. Neat, clean, spoke good English. The car was OK, but not more. We took a coffee break after about an hour of driving. The break that the driver apparently needed, I didn't ask for. He had breakfast, I drank a water... When we were about to leave, the engine would not start. After about 10 minutes of suspense, it finally started and we resumed our journey. We arrived at the Taj Mahal a little before 12:00. Here we met up with the guide. The man looks good, elegant, speaks good English. I told him that I was not very interested in all kinds of stories, legends, etc. but only synthetic information, in short. Plus help with a few pictures, here and there. The man seemed a bit rushed, it seemed like he was waiting for the phone call to inform him that his wife had given birth. Well, with his help, I quickly passed through the security check and the queue at the entrance to the site. In an hour we had finished the visit. "You can't visit that, you're not allowed to enter here, etc". Of course, we were constantly pushed by the huge flow of people. He helped me with the pictures, but a third of them were bad. 3 hours?! Nope... He then told me that we now had to visit Agra Fort and baby Taj (Itmad-ud-Daula), saying that the latter wasn't really worth it, that it was small, that it wasn't impressive. I said that I still wanted to see it. Everything was OK at Agra Fort, we arrived at the scheduled time, I received good and interesting information, nothing to complain about. And the baby Taj, which was the next destination, comes up again. And he tries again to suggest to me that it's not worth it. And I say that I traveled thousands of km from Europe to get there and that I want to see him. OK, let's go... When we were about to leave, I found out that the car and driver had changed, because the one I had come with had problems. The new car, a bit more tired than the first one. But the driver was...the strange thing. Let's ignore his physical appearance, we don't choose how we look. But he looked like he had been sleeping for a week in the same pants and shirt he was wearing. They were torn and faded. Plus, I would find out on the way back, he barely knew a few words of English. So, we set off for the baby Taj. We drive for about 10-15 minutes and stop at a point on the road. "The road is blocked, the access is closed", the guide tuld me. I asked him if there is no other way, because the baby Taj is not a fortress with a single access bridge. He started complaining that the detour would take us a long time. This considering that we only stayed for an hour at the Taj Mahal instead of three hours... Maybe the road was really blocked, I don't know. But the previous insistence that it wouldn't be worth visiting the baby Taj makes me think that maybe the guide didn't want us to "waste" any more time there. I gave up, somewhat sad, what was I going to do... We then went to have lunch at the Mariott hotel, which looked very good, the food was good, nothing to complain about. Then we shook hands and parted ways. At 2:30 PM I was on my way to Delhi, with my "mute" driver. Day trip?! No way...
