Delhi Arrival and Half Day Sightseeing

Raj Ghat - Upon your arrival in Delhi, we will pick you up from your preferred location, whether it be the hotel or the airport. After picking you up, we will proceed to your hotel in Delhi, which has been reserved for an overnight stay. Check in to the hotel. After lunch, at 1:30 p.m., we will take you on a sightseeing tour of Delhi, starting with the Raj Ghat. The Raj Ghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi, India. Originally, it was the name of a historic ghat in Old Delhi. Raj Ghat features a black marble platform marking the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination in 1948.

Red Fort - The Red Fort, or Lal Qila, is a historic fort in Old Delhi, Delhi, India, that served as the main residence of the Mughal Emperors. Emperor Shah Jahan commissioned the construction of the Red Fort on May 12, 1638, when he decided to shift his capital from Agra to Delhi.

Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - The Masjid-i Jehan-Numa (lit. ’World-reflecting Mosque’), commonly known as the Jama Masjid of Delhi, is one of the largest mosques in India. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656 and inaugurated by its first imam, Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari. Situated in the Mughal capital of Shahjahanabad (today Old Delhi), it served as the imperial mosque of the Mughal emperors until the demise of the empire in 1857. The Jama Masjid was regarded as a symbolic node of Islamic power across India, well into the colonial era. It was also a site of political significance during several key periods of British rule. It remains in active use and is one of Delhi’s most iconic sites, closely identified with the ethos of Old Delhi.

Qutub Minar - Qutab Minar is a soaring, 73-meter-high tower of victory, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak immediately after the defeat of Delhi’s last Hindu kingdom. The tower has five distinct storeys, each marked by a projecting balcony that tapers from a 15-meter diameter at the base to just 2.5 meters at the top. The first three storeys are made of red sandstone; the fourth and fifth storeys are made of marble and sandstone. At the foot of the tower is the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, the first mosque to be built in India. An inscription over its eastern gate provocatively informs us that it was built with material obtained from demolishing ‘27 Hindu temples’. A 7-meter-high iron pillar stands in the courtyard of the mosque. It is said that if you can encircle it with your hands while standing with your back to it, your wish will be fulfilled. The sightseeing finishes at 6:00 p.m. Overnight stay in the Delhi Hotel.

Delhi to Jaipur Drive

Jaipur - After breakfast in the morning, at 8:30 a.m., check out of the hotel, and we will drive you to Jaipur. Reach Jaipur at 2:00 p.m.

Jal Mahal - Jal Mahal is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city, the capital of the state of Rajasthan, India. The palace was originally constructed in 1699; the building and the lake around it were later renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber.

Jaipur Full Day Sightseeing & Evening Drive to Agra

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - After having a filling breakfast at 8:00 in the morning, you will embark on a full day of sightseeing. We will take you to see the City Palace. The five-story palace was built in the form of Krishna’s crown because Sarai Pratap Singh was devoted to Krishna, the Hindu god. The mahal has a total of 953 small casements, each with a small lattice-worked pink window, balconies, and arched roofs with hanging cornices. This allows cool breezes to blow through the mahal and keep it cool and airy in the summer. Despite the large number of windows, each of them is the size of a peephole, so the royal ladies were not to be seen by the public.

City Palace of Jaipur - Jaipur is one city that transports you back to the Rajput era the moment you set foot there. It is dotted with architectural wonders, and that is the reason why the city sees good tourist footfall all year round. One such architectural delight right in the center of Jaipur is the City Palace, a symbol of the regal and royal days of the city. The City Palace is a building that has preserved the history of the city and is an icon of grandeur. Once you enter the palace, all you can do is stand transfixed by its beauty while you soak in the marvelous architecture and the artifacts inside. City Palace used to be the home for the royal family of Jaipur, but later it was divided into two parts: one that contains a few courtyards and museums, and the other where the royal family still resides.

Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - The Jantar Mantar, Jaipur, is a collection of 19 astronomical instruments built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The monument was completed in 1734. It features the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is near the City Palace and Hawa Mahal.

Albert Hall Museum - The Albert Hall Museum was built in 1876 as a concert hall. The museum gets its name from the Victoria and Albert Museum of London because of the similarity of architecture. The foundation for the building started in 1876 when the Prince of Wales visited Jaipur. When the building was constructed, the royals and government did not have any idea about its usage. It was initially used as a town hall in 1880. Later, the King of Jaipur, Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh II, suggested using it as a museum for industrial arts. Later, the hall was used for displaying the masterpieces of local artisans.

Birla Mandir Temple - Birla Mandir, Jaipur (Lakshmi Narayan Temple) is a Hindu temple located in Jaipur, India, and is one of many Birla mandirs. It was built by the B.M. Birla Foundation in 1988 and is constructed solely of white marble. It is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu (Narayan), whose images appear inside, along with other Hindu gods and goddesses and selections from the Gita and Upanishads. Festivals such as Diwali and Janmashtami are celebrated at the temple.

Monkey Temple - Monkey Temple India is a group of iconic temples at the holy place of Galta, a peaceful retreat amid nature offering mesmerizing views of the Aravali Hills and a green and serene environment. This complex is also known by the name Monkey Temple, for it is here that large colonies of macaque monkeys reside, which are a major attraction of the place, along with the striking temples decorated with fresco paintings inside out. Situated in the mountains, Pass Galtaji is naturally so vibrant, with mountains on all three sides and two ponds, one for the ladies at the top and another one below for the gentlemen. Small dunes on the way to the Galta group of temples keep one away from the chaos of the bustling city of Jaipur. A visit to this place of pilgrimage with peace and calming energy is a must when in Jaipur. After all the sightseeing, we will drive you to Agra. Reach Agra later in the evening and check-in at your pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay in the Agra Hotel.

Agra Full Day Sightseeing & Varanasi ( By train )

Taj Mahal - After having a filling breakfast at 9:30 a.m., you will embark on a full day of sightseeing in Agra. Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal. The most photographed monument in the world, the Taj stands in its splendor of white marble, an imposing citadel on the banks of the Yamuna. Built in the 17th century by Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal emperor, in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is an ode to the emperor’s eternal love for his wife. It took over 20,000 skilled workers from across the country, working day and night, for 22 years for this architectural wonder to be created.

Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah - The Tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah is a Mughal mausoleum in the city of Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Often described as a “jewel box,” sometimes called the “Bachcha Taj” or the “Baby Taj,” the tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.

Agra Fort - Agra Fort is a historical fort in the city of Agra in India. It was built between 1565 and 1573 for Mughal Emperor Akbar. It was the main residence of the rulers of the Sikarwar clan of Rajputs until the Mughals occupied it and the Mughal Dynasty until 1638 when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi.

Mehtab Bagh - Mehtab Bagh is a charbagh complex in Agra, North India. It lies north of the Taj Mahal complex and the Agra Fort on the opposite side of the Yamuna River, in the flood plains. The garden complex, square in shape, measures about 300 by 300 meters and is perfectly aligned with the Taj Mahal on the opposite bank. After all the sightseeing, we will bring you to the railway station to catch the train to Varanasi in the evening. Overnight stay on the train.

Varanasi

Sarnath - You will arrive in the morning, and our representative will be there to receive you at the Varanasi Railway station. From there, you will be driven down to the hotel, where you will be assisted with checking in. Sarnath is a place located 10 kilometers north-east of Varanasi, near the confluence of the Ganges and the Varuna rivers in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Ganga Aarti - Sunset cruise on the Ganges: cruise on the Ganges at sunset and have a grandstand view to witness the ancient prayer and oil lamp ceremony.

Varanasi to Delhi (By Train)

Ganges River - Early in the morning, we will drive you on a boat cruise on the Ganges. The best time to visit the Ghats is dawn when pilgrims take their morning dip.

Dasaswamedh Ghat - Dasadwamedh Ghat, which is the most well-known of all of the Ghats, Have fun on the boat journey and keep an eye out for the people on the Ghats: the young men showing off their strength in yoga poses, the Brahmin priests praying, and the women bathing quietly in their sarees. Come back to the hotel at 8:00 in the morning for breakfast and some time to freshen yourself.

Bharat Kala Bhavan - It is an art and architecture museum and houses a vast collection of paintings, Hindu and Buddhist sculptures, and other materials of archaeological importance. You will drive to Delhi by train and overnight stay on the train. Following the completion of your sightseeing, we will take you back to the Varanasi Railway Station for you to catch your train from Varanasi to Delhi. Stay on board the train for the night.

Delhi (Departure)

Humayun’s Tomb - Once you arrive in Delhi, we will pick you up from the station. After freshening up and breakfast, we will bring you for the sightseeing. The splendid mausoleum built in the memory of Emperor Humayun, the second Mughal ruler to ascend the throne, stands as a magnificent testament to the style of Mughal royal mausoleums. It is the first of the grand dynastic garden tombs commissioned.

India Gate - India Gate is a war memorial that was initially named the All India War Memorial. This structure stands as a memorial to more than 70,000 soldiers who died in the First World War and the Third Anglo-Afghan War.

Lotus Temple - Lotus Temple is a notable architectural marvel famous for its unique lotus structure. The temple has won several awards and recognitions for its style of building, the concept of religion, and its beauty. It is one of the most visited monuments in the world. After finishing the program, we will drop you off at your desired location in Delhi. Day 7’s sightseeing activities come to an end at 4:00 p.m. After the completion of the session, we will transport you to a location of your choice within Delhi.
