Eat like a local - A fantastic evening walking and eating our way around Old Delhi. An evening in Old Delhi is an intense but incredible experience. It would have been overwhelming ( & we would have got lost) if not for Faizy. We tried lots of different street foods and felt totally safe (& feel tip top this morning!) Highly recommended tour.

The best way to try all sorts of street food. - Faizy was brilliant. He took us around the markets which would have been quite daunting by ourselves. We ate all sorts and felt fully assured that we were going to avoid any dreaded Delhi belly. We literally ate street food on the street some places and it really was an authentic experience. Faizy has curated the best places, which are frequented by locals, giving a really broad cross section of the foods available. We were totally stuffed by the end. Make sure you leave room for the dessert, at the last stop!

Wow wow wow! Amazing food experience - What a fantastic evening, Faizy is a wonderful human! The group tour was a mix of solo travellers, a couple and a family. Everyone was so friendly and it was a pleasure to eat with them all.
Faizy took us to some amazing places, he was super knowledgeable and so quick and confident travelling through Old Delhi with us all.
Fun, safe and delicious 😋 Highly recommend!

The Perfect Way to Spend a Night in Delhi - Myself and 3 friends took the Old Delhi Food Tour: A Night Time Feast. I would highly recommend this street food tour if you have a night free in Delhi. We were the only participants so it felt like a very personal tour. New Year’s Eve 2025 and for me it was the highlight of my trip to Delhi. The atmosphere, flavors, and energy of the city after dark were unforgettable. Our guide, Faizy, was friendly, informative, and shared great insights about the food and culture of not just Delhi but India as a whole. Highlighting the rich tapestry of cultures, languages, and peoples that makes India a vast and diverse nation. I could have easily spent another couple of hours exploring the sights, sounds and tastes of the area. Everything was well organized and I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone with a night in Delhi, even on a short visit to India. Thank you.

Incredible tour of local food spots in Old Delhi - We had an incredible tour with Faizy, getting a mix of incredible food and great stories about culture (both historical and current). We had just one evening to spend in Delhi (flight transfer) and I’m so glad that this is how we chose to spend it.
The food tour is among the best we’ve done in the world. Faizy does a great job finding spots where there are no other tourists - from hole-in-the-wall, to street carts and restaurants a level above the busy streets. His great finds left our stomachs filled with no concerns of ‘Delhi belly’. We also loved that the locations were interspersed with historical/cultural sites.
Faizy was also incredibly considerate of people’s allergies and would always find alternative options for those who needed.
Also very grateful for how easy it was to communicate with Faizy directly over WhatsApp, after we ran 5min late to the start of the tour!

The Old Delhi food tour was an unforgettable immersion into flavour, history, and heart. From the first bite to the last sip, the extraordinary range of tastes, textures, and flavours told stories far beyond the food itself. Our guide, Fiezy, was exceptionally warm, knowledgeable, and insightful, making every stop feel personal and meaningful. He didn’t just introduce us to iconic dishes; he wove them seamlessly into the rich histories of Delhi, explaining how the city’s past shapes its present. Through his storytelling, we gained a deeper understanding of India’s current psyche, culture, and contradictions. A truly enriching, delicious experience.

★★★★★ Outstanding street food and cultural experience in Old Delhi - This evening street food and culture walk with Faizy (Explore Routes) was genuinely outstanding. The food was carefully curated, generous, and delicious, but what really set this tour apart was Faizy himself. His knowledge of Old Delhi, Indian culture, religion, and history is exceptional, and he weaves stories and context effortlessly into the walk.
Faizy took us to places we simply would not have found on our own, and likely would not have dared to explore without a knowledgeable local guide. Everything felt considered, authentic, and safe, with a real emphasis on quality rather than tourist traps.
We were a group of four and effectively had a private tour, which made the experience even more special. This was the highlight of our trip to India so far. I would strongly recommend doing this on your first day in Delhi it completely changes how you see and navigate the city afterwards.
An unforgettable experience.

A great foody night in Old Dehli - Faizy was a great guide, we've really enjoyed our time with him! Very knowledgeable and professional, but also super approachable, managed to put everyone at easy and satisfy requests. He chooses the vendors carefully, he made us trying things we would have never been able to pick alone, very tasty, and abundant. He was also able to advise my husband with his gluten intollerance and suggest which food he could try. A great first night in Dehli!!!
