Fantastic experience, excellent driver, knowledgeable guides and very well organised. - Even before we arrived in India, Gopal was in contact with us to confirm our arrangements for the tour as well as our transition on and off the tour. It all ran like clockwork yet offered the flexibility to skip or change provided time allowed. Our driver Mukesh took care of the organisation on the day for pick ups and drop offs, coordinating with guides and finding the very best lunch spots. His driving in the hustled and bustle that is India was absolutely outstanding and we couldn't have wished for a better travel companion. Thank you Mukesh, your constant efforts to make the tour outstanding, deserve recognition, we couldn't have had a better travel companion. The hotels we had on the Premium option were excellent, especially the traditional Haveli in Jaipur. The guides that joined at each city were knowledgeable and took care of us to make sure we were safe but also fully experienced each location. I would definitely recommend the tour for the inside knowledge they bring to making stops smooth and effortless, nothing was ever too much trouble. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone visiting for the Golden Triangle.

Golden Review | Recommended for Adventurer and History-Curious - This 3-day excursion is not for the faint of heart as you visit many of the beautiful places in the Golden Triangle. My review will focus on the experience of a Solo Traveller. Contents of paragraphs: 1) Description of Travel Vehicle and Travel Arrangements 2) Job descriptions of Driver and Tour Guides 3) Pricing and Incidentals 4) Masala Chai (1) The trip consists of a team of 2 people in a sedan (which has many advantages in India for maneuverability in comparison to larger groups that will get stuck in traffic on buses) that ferry you around the city to all the sites listed in the itinerary. The staff consists of a local tour guide from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) that provides access to certain venues for tourists where you otherwise would not have access and a driver that you will have for the entirety of your journey. There is not a ton of luggage space, however, as the trucks of the sedan often contains the LNG tank so be aware of the constraint. Your package level will determine the hotels you will reside and the local hotels are quite impressive in their affordability and amenities. (2) The driver will take you almost everywhere you want to go during the visit and will help you keep to your schedule. (It would be wise to share your WhatsApp number with them so they may contact you for morning pickups.) In short, the driver is your hero who remains the constant between stops and will have the most experience in representing the tourist friendly and local establishments. Tour guides come and go for each of the several cities you visit. There knowledge of the sites they visit are impeccable and will cover the information drought for those seeking spectacle without the cerebral weight of a quiz afterwards. As someone interested in history, especially world history, this was a little disappointing but, then again, that is a lot to ask of the tour guides who have to juggle a random starry eyed tourist that is accosting them with questions in a variety of accents and mannerisms all while maintaining professionalism. For the tour guides, they are pleasant and great help. (3) Pricing. India is seen as a great place to visit based on your country of origin's exchange rate. Most western countries will have a higher exchange rate so your currency can stretch farther. Now, what I say here is important: your country of origin will influence how your money should be spent in the eyes of the staff and businesses you visit. Be ready to haggle if you are seen to be from more friendlier, tipping based cultures such as the Australia, Canada, or the US. Tips will be seen as expected yet India is not a tipping culture unless you are in the more metropolitan/international/tourist based spaces (as stated by my friends who have moved from India). Tips can runaway from you if you are not constantly keeping track of the currency exchange rate between your currency and the INR. With this in mind, be prepared to tip if you feel like you can't muster the courage to rebuff the insistence by some vendors. (Regardless of these comments do tip your driver for all the work they do. I gave roughly 5000 INR to my driver and 1000 INR to 1500 INR to my tour guides.) In addition, there will be a lot of opportunity for shopping (avoid the pressure tactics from street vendors to pressure you to buy goods) and, if so, try to haggle in your domestic currency to understand your cost appropriately; therefore, bring a sizable budget for incidentals with most about 60% spent with cash (I had ~100.000 INR spent). 4) Ask for getting the Masala Chai located on the side of the road. It is delicious. Shout out to Tour Guides: Hemat in Delhi, Ahmed in Agra, and, most certainly of all, Vinodswami my witty driver.

Amazing trip thanks to Golden Triangle - Absolutely Incredible Experience! I recently booked a 3-day Golden Triangle tour and couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the very beginning, Mr. Gopal made everything so easy — the booking process was smooth, communication was clear, and I always felt well taken care of. A very special thank you to my amazing driver, Mr. Dev. He truly made my trip unforgettable! Not only is he an incredibly skilled and safe driver, but he also made every moment enjoyable. His friendly personality and fun spirit really made these 3 days something I’ll always remember. I’m already looking forward to coming back so we can continue working on our ‘Perfect’ singing duet! 🎤😄 The accommodations arranged for me were excellent — Tulip Hotel in Agra and Heritage Hotel in Jaipur. Both had great service, comfortable rooms, and delicious breakfasts to start each day right. I also want to thank all of the tour guides at each location. They were knowledgeable, helpful, spoke very good English, and even helped me take photos at the best spots — a huge bonus for a solo traveler! My only regret is that I didn’t have more than 3 days to explore the Golden Triangle. There is so much to see and experience! I will definitely be back for a longer visit, and Golden Triangle Tours will be my first choice — especially if I can tour again with the wonderful Mr. Dev! Highly recommended! 🙌✨

Top experience, nice driver, well organized - We had a very nice time on our Tour! It was very well organized and very uncomplicated in general. We had the 4-Star hotel option, and they were all very nice, clean with good service and food. All the guides were very helpful and very knowledgeable of the sights and cities we visited. Our driver Mansingh stayed with us for the whole duration of the trip and made sure we had lunch at hygienic places and helped us wherever he could. Was always on time and drove safely. Three days was very packed. Totally worth it if you're on a tight schedule, but if you have enough time, we'd probably go for the four day option. A little less packed :) In short: Very nice experience, would do it again

A fantastic tour of the Golden Triangle - Highly recommended. From the onset communication with Gopal the tour organiser was excellent. The tour was fantastic, it was unbelievable how much we saw in 3 days, the driver Nek ensured our journey was safe, comfortable and interesting. The tour guides, Chetan in Delhi, Rajesh in Jaipur and Ahmed in Agra were very knowledgeable and brought history alive. Ahmed is also a magician photographer! Trust him with your mobile for outstanding photographic memories! Both hotels were very good, with excellent facilities including a pool.

Fantastic tour driver and guides and communication with Gopal prior to arriving in india - Fantastic trip we was picked up from the airport and dropped to our hotel in Delhi, meeting our driver Maan Singh who was great and would be with us the whole time. They did ask us to start the tour a day early but we wanted to recover from our flight so we was picked up form our hotel after breakfast on agreed start day. We then picked up our guide for Delhi for a day’s sightseeing. We decided not to do all the venues and chose just a few see attached photos. After dropping off our guide we set off for Agra, during the whole trip it was nice to have to freedom to stop when if we wanted to alongside some stops for shops that the guides wanted us to stop at. I didn’t mind this if it gets them a bit of extra cash you can always politely refuse no problem. Drop to our hotel in Agra, we arranged to book our own hotels which worked out for both parties. We decided to leave the early morning visit to taj at the risk of not seeing much because of the fog. Met our guide who took care of buying tickets for us so much easier to give him the money. He was a very enthusiastic photographer and wanted to take lots of photos with our phones. There’s something very special about the taj especially when you see it for the first time. I’ve been to Agra before ,in fact all the places on this tour sone a few times over the years, but my girlfriend hadn’t so I thought the best way would be to book this tour so glad we did. Enjoyed the taj and seeing a bit of Agra said goodbye to our guide and got on the road to Jaipur. Checked into our hotel and had the gala dinner booked. It was colder than we’d anticipated for 31/12 luckily we’d packed thermals etc. the next day a full day in Jaipur including an elephant ride we another fantastic guide back to the hotel for dinner and after breakfast the next day we headed back to Delhi. We was able to keep in contact with our driver through what’s app I’d got local sim in Delhi to have internet access and the ability to call the whole time I was there we was going onto Varanasi after the tour for a few days. Then onto goa for a month. I’d recommend this tour yes you might be paying a little bit over the odds but we’ll worth it to save the hassle of arranging travel myself. Which I used to do in india when I was a younger man. Hassle free is the way forward these days and this tour facilitates that and much more!!

# Day Goden Triangle Tour with Viator - I arranged this tour in India with Viator to tour New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and return to New Delhi. This tour was well arranged with an Indian touring company in India. After confirming the tour with Viator, I got a call from Gopal Khatik confirming my date/ time of arrival in New Delhi. We stayed 2 days at Andaz/ Hyatt two days prior to the trip to Agra etc. Gopal charged us extra $75 for providing a luxury van for our travel out of New Delhi. In every city , they provided an English speaking tour guide who took us to various sights and monuments. As an American passport holder, you pay much higher admission fees than Indian Citizens or dual passport holders. Most of the hotels were 4-5 star ratings with Breakfast. Lunch and Dinners were on our own choosing. All three days were very hectic and busy. Our driver and his companion were very friendly and English speaking. One of the thing, I didn't like was the tour guides take you to tourist shops where they pressure you to buy high priced items. Watch out for size of the car you will get during this trip. Our luxury van broke down in Jaipur and we had to travel by a small compact car returning to New Delhi. This car didn't have good air conditioning and it was very hot trip of 5 hours. Overall, I would recommend Viator for arranging the trip to India.

Great experience - Our experience from the golden triangle tour from the start was brilliant.our driver Rajesh was absolutely Fantastic, always early very helpful and polite,a very hard working man who made our experience just great. He made us very comfortable always asked if we needed anything.for anyone thinking of booking this tour I would highly recommend asking for Rajesh as your driver.the over all tour was very good except for all the guides (not the driver) bringing you to locations in every city where they bring you to a shop and in that shop the the only purpose is to make you buy expensive things that the guides obviously know the people there and it’s not nice and intimidating.other than that the tour is great the guides do show you a lot and explain very well.i would recommend doing this it is great value for money.the hotels included were brilliant also.
