At 06:00 AM, our chauffeur will arrive at your hotel lobby in Delhi, Delhi N.C.R, Noida, Faridabad, or Gurgaon, and will drive you to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway Highway. You will reach Agra in approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival in Agra, a tour guide will meet you and assist you with your Agra trip.

• Taj Mahal - The Taj Mahal was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 for being “the jewel of Islamic art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage.” It is considered by many as the finest example of Mughal architecture and a symbol of India’s rich history. The Taj Mahal attracts around 5 million visitors annually, and in 2007 it was declared a winner of the New 7 Wonders of the World initiative. The Taj Mahal complex is believed to have been completed in 1653 at an estimated cost of ₹32 million at the time, which would be approximately ₹35 billion in 2023. The construction project employed about 20,000 artisans under the guidance of a board of architects led by Ustad Ahmad Lahori, the emperor’s court architect. Various types of symbolism have been used in the Taj to reflect natural beauty.

Note: After touring the Taj Mahal, the guide will take you to Agra Fort. Travelers can visit either Agra Fort or I’timād-ud-Daulah.

• Agra Fort - Agra Fort (Red Fort) is a historical fort in the city of Agra, also known as Agra’s Red Fort. Mughal emperor Humayun was crowned at this fort. It was later renovated by Mughal emperor Akbar from 1565, and the present-day structure was completed in 1573. It served as the main residence of the Mughal dynasty rulers until 1638, when the capital was moved from Agra to Delhi. It was also known as the “Lal Qila” or “Qila Akbari.” Before being captured by the British, the last Indian rulers to occupy it were the Marathas. In 1983, the Agra Fort was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its significance during the Mughal Dynasty.

Note: After visiting the Agra Fort or during the tour, if the traveler wishes to have lunch, the guide will take you to a high-quality and hygienic restaurant.

• Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah - The Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah is a Mughal mausoleum in the city of Agra. Often described as a “jewel box” and sometimes called the “Baby Taj,” the tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. The mausoleum was commissioned by Nur Jahan, the wife of Jahangir, for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg, originally a Persian Amir in exile, who was given the title of Itimad-ud-Daulah. Mirza Ghiyas Beg was also the grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal, the wife of emperor Shah Jahan, responsible for the construction of the Taj Mahal.

This is a private car tour which includes Pick-up & Drop-off where you will see two UNESCO World Heritage Sites with a professional tour guide. Your driver will pick you up from your location, then take you to Agra. On reaching Agra, you will meet your tour guide, he will be with you during this entire journey and save you from the crowd, long lines and will give you direct entry to the first monument, Taj Mahal; the most famous representation of Indian architecture and one of the seven wonders of the world. To make your trip even more memorable, your guide will also help you to take photos. After the Taj Mahal, you’ll visit the Agra Fort which is also known as (Red Fort). Your guide will take you to a local and famous restaurant to enjoy the local foods. After lunch, you will finally take you to the Itimad ud Daulah historical monument; the first monument in India that is built entirely of marble. Your driver will drop you at the same place from where he picked you up after the tour.
