• Swaminarayan Akshardham - Recognized by the Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Comprehensive Hindu Temple, the complex was inaugurated on November 6, 2005, and is breathtakingly opulent. Artisans used ancient techniques to carve the pale red sandstone into elaborate reliefs, including 20,000 deities, saints, and mythical creatures. The centerpiece is a 3-meter-high gold statue of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan, surrounded by more intricate carvings.
• Akshardham - Within the Akshardham temple complex, witness The Sahaj Anand Multimedia Water Show in the evening. This captivating 24-minute presentation combines various intriguing media to bring a story from the Kena Upanishad to life. Multi-color lasers, video projections, underwater flames, water jets, and surround sound, in harmony with lights and live actors, create an inspiring presentation. International experts collaborated with BAPS volunteers and sadhus to produce this unique show.
