• Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - An exciting day awaits you with a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storey marvel with a stunning pyramidal facade, overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes, and spires.
• Amber Palace - Continue your tour with a drive to the ancient capital of Amer to visit the magnificent Amber Fort, located on a ridge just outside Jaipur city. The fort is surrounded by fortified battlements and overlooks Moata Lake. Ruins and remains of the fort are scattered over the Aravalli hills, with sprawling crenellated walls latticing the surrounding area. Explore the palace’s chambers and hallways, renowned for their excellent design and decoration. Within the complex is Ganesh Pol, an imposing gateway adorned with images of the God Ganesh. The blend of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles is evident in the Sukh Niwas, Jas Mandir Apartments, and the Charbagh garden with its perfectly proportioned landscaping. • Jal Mahal - After exploring Amer Fort, drive by Jal Mahal and capture some spectacular roadside photos.
• City Palace of Jaipur - This afternoon, enjoy a tour of the Pink City, an “abode of rajahs.” Highlights include a visit to the City Palace Museum, which boasts a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and Mughal and Rajput armoury, including swords of various shapes and sizes with chiselled handles. Many antiques and artefacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here, including a collection of weaponry. The museum also features an art gallery with an excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia, and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin, and Sanskrit.
• Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - Proceed to the awe-inspiring Jantar Mantar Observatory, a stone astrological and astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century.
