Jama Masjid: This is another magnificent treasure of the Old City and the largest mosque in India. Its courtyard can accommodate an impressive 25,000 worshippers. The mosque took 13 years to build, completed in 1650. (Camera or mobile use in this mosque is chargeable and payable directly by the traveler.)
Chandni Chowk - Chandni Chowk: Known as Moonlight Square, it is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi, India. Chandni Chowk is located near the Old Delhi Railway Station, with the Red Fort monument situated within the market.
Spice Market: A bit west of Chandni Market, you’ll find Khari Baoli Road, home to Asia’s largest wholesale spice market. Here, hundreds of shops offer refined, local, and exotic spices. This vibrant market area is rich in color and photographic opportunities, making it a must-visit.
Red Fort - Red Fort: Delhi’s most famous monument, the Red Fort, stands as a powerful reminder of the Mughal emperors who ruled India. Its walls, stretching over two kilometers (1.2 miles), were built in 1638 to keep out invaders. (The fort is closed every Monday.)

Delhi to Mandawa (235 Km/6.5 Hrs Drive)
Mandawa - After breakfast, proceed to Mandawa, a town in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, India. It is part of the Shekhawati region, located 190 km north of Jaipur. The town lies between latitude 28° 06’ N and longitude 75° 20’ E.
Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Later, enjoy sightseeing in Mandawa, known for its various havelis and forts. Visit Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli and other famous havelis. Explore houses adorned with colorful fresco art and paintings.

Jaswant Thada: Built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II in 1899, this site is close to Mehrangarh Fort. The marble construction’s tranquility is enchanting, with intricate carvings and portraits of the Rathore rulers. The grounds feature a multilevel garden, intricately carved gazebos, and a pond.
Umaid Bhawan Palace: Construction began in 1929 and was completed in 1943. Situated on the city’s highest point, the 347-room palace is one of the world’s largest private residences. It combines Indian and European architectural styles. Part of the palace serves as a residence for the former royal family, while other parts are a Taj Palace Hotel and museum.
Mandore Gardens: Mandore, dating back to the 6th century, was Marwar’s capital before Jodhpur was established. The gardens attract many tourists and house a government museum, a ‘Hall of Heroes,’ and a temple to 33 crore Gods. Artifacts and statues found in the area are displayed in the museum. The architectural splendor of the bygone era is evident here.

Pushkar Lake: Hindus across India consider Pushkar Lake one of the most sacred lakes. According to legend, the lake originated from lotus flower petals that fell from Lord Brahma’s hands. The lake is surrounded by 52 palaces, 400 temples, and 52 bathing ‘ghats,’ a series of steps leading to the lake. Every November, pilgrims take a holy dip in the lake, believed to cleanse sins and cure skin diseases. The Pushkar Fair is held annually near the lake.

Brahma Temple - After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Pushkar and visit:
Pushkar Market: The Pushkar Bazaar offers a variety of items, especially during the annual Pushkar Fair. Items include Rajasthani costumes, puppets, embroidered fabrics, souvenirs, bangles, beads, decorative pieces, accessories, curios, embroidered shoes, brass utensils, glass lamps, bags, belts, and many more handicraft items. Most traditional items come from Barmer District and other tribal areas of Rajasthan.
Brahma Temple: The only Hindu temple in India where Lord Brahma, the Creator of the World, is worshipped. This major attraction in Pushkar is situated on the banks of Pushkar Lake and holds a special position in Hindu Pantheons. Built in the 14th century, the temple features a raised platform, red spire, stone slabs, marble floors, and an image of ‘hans’ or swan, Lord Brahma’s vehicle. Inside, a life-sized four-armed idol of Lord Brahma and a silver carved turtle are present. Pilgrims customarily stand on the steps and place coins to mark the deaths and births of loved ones.

Amber Palace - In the morning, after breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Direct sunlight on the Hawa Mahal is one of the most amazing sights to see from outside, and a stop will be made for a photoshoot.
Hawa Mahal: Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, this is the most recognizable monument of Jaipur. The five-storied, stunning semi-octagonal monument with 152 windows and overhanging latticed balconies is a fine piece of Rajput architecture. Originally designed for royal ladies to watch and enjoy processions and other activities on the street below, it now houses a well-laid-out museum. The display “Jaipur past and present” is a special feature of this newly set-up museum.
Later, drive to Amer Fort and experience a Jeep Ride from the old town to reach the Courtyard of Amer Fort, a route once used by the king’s army.
Amer Fort: The old capital of the Kachhwahas stands atop a range of craggy hills. The fort is remarkable for the majestic grandeur of its surroundings, sturdy battlements, and beautiful palaces. It is a fine blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. The solemn dignity of its red sandstone and white marble pavilions, when reflected in the lake at the foothill, is a sight to behold. The original palace was built by Raja Man Singh.
Jal Mahal: On the way back from Amber Fort, this small palace is set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Renovation around the lake is in progress.
Albert Hall Museum: Situated in the Ram Niwas Garden, this graceful building was founded in 1876 by Prince Albert (also known as Albert Hall). It has a rare collection of archaeological and handicraft pieces.

Jaipur to Agra via Abhaneri (270 Km/5 Hrs Drive)
Chand Baori (Stepwell) - After breakfast, proceed to Agra, visiting en route:
Abhaneri is a village in the Dausa district of Rajasthan, India. It is situated 95 km from Jaipur on the Jaipur-Agra road. The place is popular for the Chand Baori stepwell and Harshat Mata Temple.
Later, proceed to Agra. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel in Agra.
Agra Tour: Visit Taj Mahal - Delhi (210 Km/5 Hrs Drive)
Taj Mahal - Early morning sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal.
Taj Mahal: Agra is synonymous with the Taj Mahal, a monument of love constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. This white marble beauty stands as a testament to the brilliance of Mughal architecture. Named one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal has been a World Heritage Site since 1983. It is a feast for the eyes and senses, especially on a full moon night. (*Taj Mahal is closed every Friday. If closed on this day, visit on the 15th day at sunset.)

Qutub Minar - After breakfast, start a sightseeing tour of New Delhi, visiting:
Qutub Minar: The tallest brick minaret in the world, Qutub Minar is an incredible example of early Indo–Islamic architecture. Built in 1206, its purpose remains a mystery. Some believe it signifies victory and the beginning of Muslim rule in India, while others say it was used to call the faithful to prayer. The tower has five distinct stories, covered with intricate carvings and verses from the holy Quran. There are also several other historic monuments on the site. Humayun’s Tomb: Resembling the Taj Mahal in Agra, Humayun’s Tomb was its inspiration. Built in 1570, it houses the body of the second Mughal emperor, Humayun. It was the first of this type of Mughal architecture in India, leading to an extensive period of construction across the country. The tomb is part of a greater complex set among beautiful gardens. (No entrance is included in the price.)
Lotus Temple: Commonly referred to as the Lotus Temple, the Bahai Temple is shaped like a lotus flower. It is particularly pretty at night when attractively lit. Made of white marble, the temple belongs to the Bahai Faith, which proclaims the unity of all people and religions. Everyone is welcome to worship there. The tranquil gardens and ponds surrounding the temple are also great for a relaxing picnic.
India Gate drive pass: The towering archway of India Gate at the center of New Delhi is a war memorial, built in memory of Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Army in World War I. At night, it glows warmly under floodlights, and the gardens lining its boulevard are popular for enjoying a warm summer evening.
