New Delhi - The 10-Day Colorful Rajasthan Tour with Taj Mahal and Wildlife commences upon arrival in Delhi. A company chauffeur will be there to assist with the transfer to the pre-booked hotel.

Enjoy some free time to adjust to the new time zone and take advantage of the hotel’s amenities. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure or relaxing. If arriving early and eager to explore, consider a short half-day Delhi tour or a visit to the Akshardham Temple. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Delhi City Tour - Jaipur - Overnight in Jaipur.

New Delhi - At 8 AM, after breakfast, meet the guide to begin sightseeing in India’s capital. Delhi is a blend of old and modern. Today, explore the following sites:

Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - Begin with Jama Masjid, the congregational mosque of Old Delhi, commissioned by the fifth Mughal ruler, Shah Jahan, a noted patron of Islamic architecture, best known for the Taj Mahal.

Chandni Chowk - After the mosque, enjoy a thrilling rickshaw ride through the bustling markets of Old Delhi.

Red Fort - Drive around the Red Fort from the outside, as 70% of the building is occupied by the Indian Army. Capture some photos from the outside.

Raj Ghat - A simple square platform of black marble on the Yamuna River banks marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, now a memorial.

India Gate - India Gate is a 140-foot-high gateway, reminiscent of the Arc-de-Triomphe, constructed as a War Memorial for the 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died during World War I.

Parliament House - Stop to take photos of the Parliament House, designed by British architects Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker. It is one of New Delhi’s most impressive buildings.

Rashtrapati Bhavan - Pause for photos of the official residence of India’s President, known as Rashtrapati Bhavan. Few official residences of Heads of State worldwide match its size, vastness, and magnificence.

Qutub Minar - Finally, visit Qutub Minar, a world heritage site. The tall minaret was constructed in 1192 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak and later completed by his successor Iltutmish. The soaring conical tower is a stunning example of Indo-Islamic architecture.

Jaipur - After the Delhi tour, drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. Overnight in Jaipur.

Jaipur Sightseeing - Overnight in Jaipur.

Jaipur - After breakfast, meet the guide to begin sightseeing in Jaipur, the pink city of Rajasthan.

Jaipur Fort - Visit Jaipur Fort, a magnificent example of Rajput architecture, rising from a rocky mountainside, and a must-see sight. It includes an extensive palace complex built from sandstone and white marble.

Jal Mahal - Stop for photos at Jal Mahal (Water Palace), beautifully situated in the watery expanse of Man Sagar, resembling a dream palace.

City Palace of Jaipur - The royal family’s residence is in the center of the Old City. A complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings, it is a striking blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - Stop for photos at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jaipur’s distinctive landmark, an extraordinary pink-painted delicately honeycombed hive rising five stories. Constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, it allowed royal ladies to watch city life and processions.

Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - Jantar Mantar Observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a collection of curving geometric buildings carefully calibrated to monitor the movement of stars and planets.

Jaipur - After an amazing tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Jaipur - Jodhpur - Overnight in Jodhpur.

Jaipur - After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur, enjoying the beautiful countryside of colorful Rajasthan en route.

Jodhpur - Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check into the hotel. Jodhpur City was founded by Rao Jodha in the 15th century as the capital of the Marwar state during the Rathore clan’s reign. After freshening up, meet the guide and visit:

Mehrangarh Fort - Visit Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s largest forts, built by Rao Jodha. The fort is situated 410 feet above the city and enclosed by imposing thick walls. Built on a hill, it is famous for its latticed stone windows.

Jaswant Thada - Jaswant Thada was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in 1899 in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and serves as the cremation ground for the Marwar royal family.

Ghanta Ghar - If time allows, visit Sardar Market near the tower, where narrow alleys lead to a bazaar selling vegetables, spices, Indian sweets, textiles, silver, and handicrafts. It’s a great place to explore at leisure.

Jodhpur - After an amazing tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Jodhpur - Ranakpur Temple - Udaipur - Overnight in Udaipur.

Jodhpur - After breakfast, check out of the hotel, then drive to Udaipur, known as the city of lakes and the Venice of the East. This romantic city was the capital of the former princely state of Mewar. En route, visit:

Ranakpur Jain Temple - Visit Ranakpur Jain Temple, featuring beautiful carvings and an amazing marble complex of the Jain Religion.

Saheliyon ki Bari - Saheliyon Ki Bari, a garden built by Maharana Sangram Singh II for his queen and her maids, features fountains, pools, pavilions, and marble elephants, creating a relaxing and romantic ambiance.

Agra Fort - Visit Agra Fort, an architectural masterpiece now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this huge fort, also known as Lal Qila (Red Fort) or Qila-i-Akbari, is a symbol of Agra, often referred to as a walled city. Made of red sandstone, it was once the Mughals’ residence.

Mehtab Bagh - Mehtab Bagh, meaning “Moonlight Garden,” is a historic Mughal-era garden on the Yamuna River banks, directly opposite the Taj Mahal. Emperor Shah Jahan identified this site as ideal for a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal at sunset.

Agra - After an amazing tour, return to the hotel. Overnight in Agra.

Agra - Delhi - Departure - Tour Ends

Agra - At 5:45 AM, meet the guide in the hotel lobby to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. The Taj Mahal looks stunning at sunrise, overlooking the River Yamuna.

Taj Mahal - Taj Mahal at Sunrise. The Taj Mahal displays diverse hues at different times of the day. At sunrise, it takes on a pink shade. The superb craftsmanship and structural design captivate all visitors.

Agra - After visiting the Taj Mahal at sunrise, return to the hotel to freshen up and have breakfast. After breakfast, check out of the hotel, then drive to Delhi (approximately 4 hours).

Absolutely fantastic experience - I can't recommend Joyful holidays enough. From the first contact we've had excellent service. Communication with Sonia and her team has been second to none, with every concern handled with patience. We have been very impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved with our holiday and haven't experienced any issues. Our driver,Ram, picked us up at the airport and has been with us throughout. His courtesy, friendliness and driving skill has helped us to enjoy the experience so much. At every stop we have been provided with an excellent guide; having someone with us to explain the history and help us navigate has been invaluable. We especially enjoyed Sam in Udaipur, as well as Khan, Dilip and Harry. They all felt like friends by the end of the day. And Sonia has always been on hand to answer any query and help us whenever it's been needed. We've thanked our lucky stars every day we've been here that we decided to choose Joyful. An exemplary company

Perfectly organised trip to Delhi,Agra, Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park and Varanassi! - Everything was perfectly organized! Sonia took care of every detail, making us feel secure and supported throughout the trip. From the planning stage to the trip itself, and even during unexpected situations, Sonia was always there for us. She responded to emails and WhatsApp messages within minutes, providing prompt and helpful solutions. Our driver, Raji, was with us for the first seven days, ensuring we were comfortable and well looked after. He provided water, made sure we were safe, and drove us around with great care. Special thanks to Alvina in Delhi! Having a female tour guide was such a wonderful experience—she was knowledgeable, professional, and made us feel completely at ease. The other guides we met were excellent as well. This trip exceeded our expectations, thanks to the incredible team who made it seamless and memorable. Highly recommend their services!

My tour in Delhi - An outstanding service provided by a very friendly and knowledgeable gentleman. I arranged my tour prior to arrival by email with Joyful Holidays Team who were knowledgeable about the sites we should see and very flexible with our preferences. We were picked up from the airport by the driver and he accompanied us through New Delhi. Car was very clean and comfortable (with free WiFi), driving was safe, and driver was knowledgeable about places to go and sights to see and offered great recommendations for restaurants, sight admission charges/process, good currency exchange locations, and general info on Indian history and sights while driving around. We were also provided with an excellent tour guide for more in-depth info at a fraction of cost. Would recommend travelling with a driver and guide like this and this company is excellent.

Thanks for Rajasthan Tour - We planned our Rajasthan trip from Delhi to Jaipur to Udaipur via Jaisalmer. The main challenge was we were traveling with kids and my elderly aunt who is old and require extra attention. When reached out to Sonia, she assured us about providing the best possible service to make it a life time memorable trip for us. Today, I am glad to share our wonderful experience we had in Rajasthan. A special thanks to Sonia for taking extra care in arranging a wheel chair within a short notice. Also she maintained a smooth communication regularly from the very beginning when we are planning for the trip till the moment we boarded the return flight from Udaipur. Very common for any one spending few days time in an unknown places with an unknown driver often creates hesitation and doubts. Here comes the big role of Mr Singh, who was our chauffeur. We are really impressed through his calm and friendly behavior, geography knowledge about all the places, attitude towards helping whenever and wherever required to the best possible way he can. Moreover, I must say Mr Singh never made us face any sort of challenges through out our trip. He was always there as an family member and did his best for us. We returned from Rajasthan with a wonderful memory and really happy to meet such awsome people over there. Thanks once again to the Entire Team.

Good company - Joyful Holidays offers a truly Joyful tour experience. From the beginning, to the end. When we began planning our trip we had a very positive experience with Sonia. She answered emails promptly and gave excellent advice. Every question we had was answered clearly and we were able to tailor our trip to meet our needs. In Delhi we were met by our driver, Mr Singh. He attended to our every need throughout our nine day tour of Rajasthan. He was professional, kind person. Every city professional guides were organised. This is a business run by a friendly family. We were treated as family. Which was a very special experience we will remember forever.

Highly recommended Sonia and Joyful Holidays - I visited to India and Rajasthan Taj mahal and Ranthambhore tour.I wanted to do more then just Golden Triangle tour. It was my first trip. I had a very positive experience and would recommend it to others. I got in touch with Sonia about three month before I arrived in India. Originally, I was going to go with another tour company, but something just didn't feel right about it, so I turned to Sonia Joyful Holidays, which had been a fantastic experience she also made me comfortable, as she was very professional, spoke excellent English, and asked more specific questions than other tour companies I encountered. I wanted to visit most famous cities of Rajasthan. So i took this tour and everything was fantastic for me. There are many highlights Taj Mahal ,Safaries Jaipur udaipur uncountable. All my guides and my chauffeur Mr Kapoor were very nice persons and an excellent facilitator who helped me tremendously. I am very pleased delightful, with Sonia's professionalism. I felt safe all the time as she was connected with me on whatapp all the time. Basically, if you want something, tell Sonia and she will get it done for you. She is very good at keeping the lines of communication open and checking in. This tour was more beautiful and well organised than it would have thought it was great to have peace of mind and let someone else take care of everything, and was significantly cheaper than many tour companies. Colourful Rajasthan - This trip was organised as a Birthday Trip for my Wife. The Tour of Rajasthan was amazing with amazing places that we visited from the Taj Mahal, Red Forts, Temples, visiting the blue city and Havelis. Coming face to face with those amazing craftsmanship is beyond real. Staying in a really nice Haveli at Chobday was really a nice experience which we both very much enjoy. Everyone who visit India should at least one time stay in one of the haveli. We also had an amazing driver (Mr Ram Pal) who stayed with us from Day 1 to day 14. It was like having another guide with us, he was very knowledgeable by pointing out places when driving, attending to our last minute request straight away and he was very friendly. Joyful Holidays are very lucky to have him. The downside of the tour was that at each places we visited, we had a different tour guide, some were very good while others not so much. Some tour guide will take us to Artisan shop which are not on the Itinerary, there we got pressured to buying expensive items (Carpets, Jewelleries, old artifacts as well as decorations made out of precious stones). No matter what we said ( cannot afford it, do not have money) was not enough to stop the hassle. We even had 2 tour guides who made us give large donations. One of them informed us that we could make any donation at the temple if we wanted but it had to be done at the donation office. When at the office, we were informed that there were 4 types (amount) for the donation and nothing else. We agreed to make a $100 donation but the guide started pressurising us to make a higher donation. When we stood our ground and paid $100, he informed us that we only paid for rice pudding! he was a tour guide and he told us that he only work at the temple but informed and showed us that he had the latest and expensive phone on him (Samsung s25 Ultra). The other one asked us to make an offering at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah which we agreed for a small one but he organised the offerings which was expensive and later on collected the money from us. Most of the hotels were Vegetarian only and not Licenced. I wished that we had been informed of this as we would have made the necessary arrangements. As Foreigners, when we go on holiday, we want to relax , enjoy ourselves and have a drink or too! My wife's birthday was a sober one, which we were not too happy. One hotel that we believe that all visitor should avoid will be Hotel Tokyo Palace. The hotel closed their restaurant when we were there so we could not have any meals on the day. Thanks to our driver, Mr Ram Pal, he came immediately when we called him and he took us to this amazing restaurant (1156 Ad Jaisalmer). we loved it so much that we had Lunch and dinner there. At night around 11pm, we were disturbed by loud shouting, screaming and door banging as if there was a fight outside our room. we did not sleep at all as the noise continued all night and morning. The next morning again the restaurant was closed thus no breakfast. When checking out , we asked the manager of the hotel about it and just told us that there were few drunk people on both side of our room. They advertise as having a swimming pool but it is next the entrance door, near the reception and the water is very dirty.

Grateful with Joyful Tours - India is a land of many contrasts, beautiful but also chaotic and overwhelming. For these reason we are so grateful with Joyful tours, without them we could not have completed the trip. Sonia provided us support all the time, quickly answering our calls and messages. Her team was very professional. The guides were excellent! All of them very enthusiastic, with great information and good timing, making our visits very pleasant. Our driver was very reliable; we could not have driven ourselves on such busy and complicated streets. This comment has nothing to do with Joyful Tours service but it may be useful if you are considering India as a destination. The hotels in the tour were ok, with helpful staff and decent food. When we have travelled to other countries we only sleep in the hotels, since we are always out exploring and walking around on our own. But Indian cities/towns do not offer this opportunity so we recommend upgrading your hotels to 5 stars since you will spend time there between tours and drives.
