Positive, uplifting experience. - Without a doubt the best tour I’ve done in Delhi! Gave me a completely different understanding of the concept of the slum, and showed me what a positive, community minded place it is. Vijay is clearly very proud of his where he lives and grew up and gives so much back to his community. Highly recommend supporting him and joining him on the slum tour and others he offers.

An unforgettable experience with Travel Locals! - Visiting Sanjay Colony with Travel Locals was one of the highlights of my trip. This tour offered a completely different and authentic perspective of Delhi, far from the typical tourist attractions. Sanjay Colony is full of life, creativity, and resilience, and the experience showed that it’s not a dangerous place, but rather a vibrant, welcoming community.
Our guide, Vijay, was exceptional. He was incredibly kind, clear in his explanations, and always available to answer questions. His passion for the community and commitment to presenting it with honesty and respect made the tour even more meaningful. Thanks to him, we were able to see the real spirit of the neighborhood.
I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to go beyond stereotypes and discover a deeper, more human side of Delhi.

Sanjay Colony tour - We took a 2-hour guided tour inside Sanjay Colony. We saw housing, school, doctor and shops and it was very interesting. The guide is very prepared and helpful. Recommended tour

Very touching and intense experience! - We booked the tour with Vijay: he has been great!! Very flexible with the meeting hour, very flexible to organize and move everything according to our needs! The slum tour is to experience how people live and work in such districts, visit schools and, most importantly, see how people smile and are happy even in those conditions very far from what we are use to. Vijay also organizes other tours around Delhi and Rahajastan. Super recommended!

A true learning experience - We were so happy to have found this tour as it was very well organized and truly educational. Vijay grew up and lives still in the slum, his passion to share what life is like and to change people's perception is commendable and it certainly changed mine. A real " must do " tour- excellent. - What an absolutely brilliant experience.
It was a real eye opener- very enlightening, educational and positive.Vijay was excellent in explaining the history of the colony and it's many positive attributes.

A different part of Delhi - 🇮🇹
The tour to Sanjay Colony was well organized and interesting. Our guide was very knowledgeable, helpful and spoke excellent English. It provided clear and useful explanations to better understand the daily life of the community. A different experience than usual that offers a more authentic look at Delhi. Recommended for those curious to know even the less touristic aspects of the city.
