• New Delhi - The driver arrives at 6:00 AM to greet the guests. Then, proceed to Agra, reaching the destination in approximately 4 hours.
• Agra - Arrive at 10:00 AM and prepare to explore the city with the tour guide.
• Taj Mahal - At 10:15 AM, visit the Taj Mahal with the tour guide and take photos of the mausoleum.
• Agra Fort - Following the Taj Mahal, explore the magnificent fort of the Mughal dynasty, constructed by the third Mughal emperor, Akbar. Agra Fort is the city’s second world heritage site and one of India’s oldest and largest forts. Originally built in the 10th century by Hindu Rajput King Badal Singh, it was later reconstructed by Akbar, who added numerous palaces with red sandstone. Shahjahan also contributed stunning buildings with white marble. Notable palaces within Agra Fort include Jahangir Palace, Diwan-a-Khas, Diwan-a-am, and Khas Mahal.
• Golden Street Restaurant - At 1:00 PM, enjoy a buffet lunch at the restaurant.
• Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah - At 2:00 PM, visit the beautiful white marble tomb of Mirza Gyas Beg, who served as the prime minister in Jahangir’s court and passed away in 1621 in Agra. His daughter or wife, Jahangir, commissioned the mausoleum, which features exquisite inlay work.
• Tomb of Akbar the Great - At 3:00 PM, visit Akbar’s tomb. After his death in 1605, his son Jahangir constructed this memorial.
• Marble Handicrafts Agra - After sightseeing, take time to explore the local handicrafts developed during the Mughal era in India. Marble Inlay is a renowned craft in the city, with many families continuing this tradition since the 16th century. Visitors can witness a live demonstration of this art, which remains unchanged since the 16th century. Other crafts include hand-knotted carpets and jewelry making. Agra is also known for its textiles and leather industry.
• New Delhi - Conclude the tour with a drive back to Delhi, cherishing the wonderful memories of the trip. Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the hotel. End of the Tour.
