Bantu and Danish made my... - Bantu and Danish made my visit to the Taj from Delhi easy and enjoyable. Both were very professional and spoke English well which made me very grateful and comfortable as a solo female traveler. Danish had a lot of knowledge to share about the heritage and everything was scheduled well. Highly recommend.

“The Taj Mahal: When Reality Somehow Beats the Photos” - In a world where you can see almost anything at the tap of a screen, we’re pretty spoiled. Photos, documentaries, drone footage… you feel like you’ve already seen it all. But every now and then a place reminds you that seeing something in real life still wins every time. This was one of those days. We met our guide Amit, and within minutes it was obvious we’d struck gold. Friendly, funny, and armed with the sort of knowledge that makes you wonder if he secretly helped write the history books. You approach the entrance with crowds of people all waiting for their moment with one of the most famous buildings on earth. Then you step through the gate and suddenly there it is… that view. The one you’ve seen a thousand times before, and the one that instantly makes you think of Diana, Princess of Wales on that famous bench. The Taj Mahal somehow still exceeds expectations. Built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, it took over 20 years and around 20,000 craftsmen to create. Up close the details are incredible — delicate marble carvings and semi-precious stones inlaid into the walls forming intricate patterns. Amit also pointed out the clever engineering: the towering minarets lean slightly outward so they would fall away from the tomb if an earthquake ever struck. We also visited the impressive Agra Fort, built by Akbar in the 16th century. Walking through its huge gates and courtyards feels like stepping back into the height of the Mughal Empire. The most fascinating story was that Shah Jahan was later imprisoned there by his own son Aurangzeb, spending his final years looking across the river at the Taj Mahal — the monument he built for his beloved wife. Thanks to Amit’s stories and knowledge, what could have been “just another tour” became one of those travel days we’ll remember forever. Photos are great. Videos are great. But standing in front of the Taj Mahal in real life? That’s when you realise some places really do live up to the hype.

Best day in India - Absolutely wonderful guide and driver. I had a super time. However, beware the carpet shop they take you too. I loved those carpets too much! Easily bargained them below half of the starting price. The Taj is truly amazing and the fort was colossal.

Five star service and attention to detail. - My driver Vimal was very courteous. He manoeuvred through the streets of Delhi safely. (Delhi traffic scares me). Although he did not speak much English, I appreciated the effort at communicating (I can't speak Hindi and Google translate came in handy). We met up with my English speaking guide Danish in Agra. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the palace and took amazing photos which I would not have thought of taking. We saw the palace at sunrise and it was definitely worth getting up at 3am for the trip from Delhi. He took me to several other places that Agra has to offer as well as a wonderful 5 ⭐ breakfast. I would recommend this tour to anyone but especially to solo travellers. I may just have to start a "solo@sixty" travel blog and use a Indian tours throughout India to get me started. For those who want to bring home a piece of local craftsmanship, Danish will definitely introduce you to the families whose ancestors passed down their skills.

Great day in Agra - We had an excellent visit to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Seeing the Taj Mahal in person is incredible, and our guide shared fascinating stories that really brought the history to life. In between the two sites we stopped for a very good lunch, which made the day relaxed and well paced. He also took us to meet local craftsmen who use the same marble inlay techniques that were used on the Taj Mahal, which was a unique and memorable experience. Agra Fort was equally impressive, especially the views of the Taj Mahal from inside the fort. Overall, a perfectly organized day and highly recommended when visiting Agra.
