Odd Fellow Cemetery Night tour delves ito NOLA history - Jeff was amazing interpreting the history and lore of the Odd Fellow Cemetery. He was more a guide on the side than a sage on the stage encouraging questions from the group which helped determine the path of his discourse. Very witty. I highly recommend this tour with Jeff.

Interesting History - We just got back from doing the haunted cemetery bus tour, and it wasn't exactly what I had expected. I'll start by saying that our tour guide, Scott, was very knowledgeable about New Orleans in general, and we enjoyed him as a guide. However, this felt to us more like a history tour than a ghost/paranormal tour. I love history and learning but we were really looking for something different, such as maybe stories about paranormal activity / ghost encounters while this tour seemed to focus more on the things like symbolism and processes for burial in the local cemeteries; interesting enough but again, not what we were expecting or hoping for based on other haunted tours we've done in the past.
The experience started off by taking the bus to visit the first cemetery where they provided us with EMF readers, and where we spent the majority of our time. You stay close with your group so there's no going off to explore solo, but it did mention on Groupon (where we purchased 2 tickets for just under $100) that you should stay close to your guide. I guess we thought we'd have an opportunity at some point at one of the stops to go off alone and really try to use the EMF readers but that did not happen on this tour. We spent a lot of time looking at individual burial sites/tombs and learning some of the history of the familes buried there.
We left cemetery #1 to stop at a local business where you could grab a drink, and use the bathroom. I'd like to add that the Groupon posting states "kick off your ghost hunt with a cocktail..." which left me under the impression that the normally $56/person tour would include 1 alcoholic beverage for that price but that's not the case. If you want to kick off with a cocktail, you purchase it from the bar. It's the same thing with the hot cocoa they tell you about on the bus before the stop to take a break; we expected to maybe have this included for the price for each of the approximately 20 people on our tour but it was again something you'd have to purchase on your own. It wasn't a big issue but I thought I'd mention it.
We did not go inside of any other cemeteries after this but instead stood on the sidewalk outside of the gates of a second cemetery. By this time, my husband had returned his EMF reader as it wasn't utilized to actively "hunt" for ghosts but rather just held as we stood and listened to historical facts from our guide. Neither of our EMF readers displayed any spikes to indicate a presence, and I didn't hear anyone else in the group mention getting any interesting readings but this of course isn't a tour issue since it's not something that's within their control.
While standing outside of cemetery #2, our guide shared some very cool photos of entities captured on camera by previous tour-goers. The pictures were the one part of the tour that really added to the creep factor so we did enjoy seeing those but we unfortunately weren't able to explore the areas ourselves where these photos had been taken. I'm not sure why this was. We were on the 7pm tour and it was a little after 8pm by this point so maybe it was an area that was closed by the time we reached it but either way, we were definitely disappointed to not be able to get into the location that produced such amazing images.
We spent probably 10 minutes at location #2, then it was back on the bus to head back to where we began, and the tour ended. Ultimately, we only went into 1 cemetery and spent almost all of our time there. If you're someone who enjoys spending time at cemeteries in general and/or enjoy learning about some of the local history, you'll probably enjoy this tour. If you're looking for a really spooky experience consumed with crazy stories of ghosts and other paranormal experiences, this may not be the tour for you.

Meh, not awful but not great. - This experience was okay. The check-in was a bit chaotic and confusing, somewhat unprofessional. It was cool to go into a cemetery, but it was barely a taste, maybe 15min tops. Having a bus to go between locales was a plus, and the rest stop at Morning Call was great. The second/third cemetery visits were underwhelming because we thought we would have gone into more than one cemetery total, but instead we just stood outside the other two. There was mention of the use of paranormal/EMF equipment, but nothing of the sort was used during the tour. We were questioned multiple times when trying to use our own devices, and the guide seemed touchy.
Overall, the tour was fine, nothing glaringly awful, but the description is misleading. $56 per person is in NO WAY, shape or form the worth/value of this experience - highway robbery. I’m sure we’re covering the cost of the transportation, but the experience was not worth it.

Not Worth the Money - The guide talked too much about himself, we stayed too long at the first cemetery so he had to cut everything short and we did not get to view any other cemetery. I feel he was a little arrogant when asked a question he would say he would answer it later. I feel like the tour did not give what was stated it would, so it was a waste of money and time. I will not be recommending it to anyone.
