Amazing 90th Birthday Memory - Our experience with Royal Carriage was truly 5 stars! This was a special 90 year birthday celebration trip. Accommodations required for pickup, drop off, and ensure our special senior could board the carriage, all supported by Royal. Our guide was very knowledgeable, funny, personable, and loved by the whole family. Our favorite part of our 3 day NOLA trip! I can’t say enough about this tour and this amazing company. Worth the money! Shout out to Liz, Rich, and Claude for making this memory every bit as memorable as I hoped for the birthday girl!

Mike and Pearl - The Dynamic Duo! - We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our private carriage tour of the French Quarter with Mike and his trusty horse friend Pearl. From start to finish, it felt both personalized and incredibly engaging. Mike was the highlight—knowledgeable, witty, and clearly passionate about New Orleans. He brought the history to life with stories you wouldn’t get on a typical tour, blending humor with fascinating details about the architecture, culture, and hidden corners of the Quarter. The carriage ride itself was comfortable and a perfect pace for taking everything in. It never felt rushed, and we were able to ask questions and go deeper into topics that interested us. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to experience the French Quarter, this is absolutely worth it—and if you can request Mike, do it. He made the experience truly special.

Royal Carriage Private Tour - Our carriage tour with Royal Carriages was truly one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Kendra, and our wonderful mule, Liza Jane, made the experience unforgettable. Kendra took the time to tailor the tour to our interests, which made it feel personal and unique. Her storytelling and knowledge of New Orleans brought the city to life in a way we hadn’t experienced before. By the end of the ride, we honestly felt like we had known her forever. We’ve visited New Orleans several times, but this carriage tour stands out as one of our absolute favorite memories. If you’re looking for a fun, authentic, and personal way to experience the city, we can’t recommend Royal Carriages enough! 🐴✨

Tons of information! Loved it. - We booked a private carriage tour for 4 and went by Jackson Square a little early to make sure we were at the right place when I met Kate. She’s a tour guide and looked up our tour to see if she was going to be out guide. She wasn’t but said our tour guide was Marty and he is one of their best and he WAS! Marty was super kind, considerate, and curated our tour to what we were interested in, architecture. Marty is very knowledgeable of beautiful New Orleans and had a ton of information about the city, the architecture, of course, & of the best areas to find good food, music, and places for us to walk to the next day. We even said Hi to a well know artist in the Marigny neighborhood! Never knew the meaning of the Mardi Gras colors. Justice(Purple), Power (Yellow), & Green (Faith). We have a Ruby Slipper in Pensacola and we love it! Cool to see the original and find out it is in the building that was the Last bank robbed by Bonnie and Clyde. Too much to type in one review. Truly a fun tour and loved doing the Private Tour. Thank you Marty!

Beware!!! - We paid for an hour ride and only got 40 minutes. The lady don’t really talk. We had to ask questions to get the history out of her. We got there at 5:55 and left at 6:10 and we’re back by 6:39 so. Not worth the 350$$
