Great Walking Tour with a Wonderful Guide - Our guide, Laura S. is a native of New Orleans. She was very informative, and took us on a great tour. We had a small group of 6 (3 couples) so it was easy to ask questions, which she answered. She was so nice and friendly and I highly recommend her! SJL

Best Tour of French Quarter and History of New Orleans! - This tour was absolutely wonderful. Our guide, Libby Segura Bollino, blew us away with her expert knowledge of New Orleans's history and culture and passionate storytelling. There was not a single part during the tour where I felt bored or disengaged. It was a bright sunny day on our tour, so we prepared with sunglasses and wide-brimmed hats. We also wore comfortable walking shoes, as there were few chances to sit. But all the spots on the tour were great. It was a very comprehensive summary of the attractions in the French Quarter during the day. Libby was also kind enough to give excellent recommendations for food (both formal and casual spots, as well as which needed reservations and which were walk-in friendly) and art galleries. She also let us know about any events during our stay; we were lucky enough to see the Italian American parade in the evening the same day of the tour because Libby told us about it. Overall, this is a great tour for anyone who is visiting New Orleans for the first time and want to learn more about its French-Spanish-American history and voodoo culture.

An interesting tour - The meetup point was very easy to find and there is a bathroom right next to it. There aren't any other bathroom stops on the tour. The tour group was nice and small. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared great stories about the general history of the peoples who lived in this area, as well as specific anecdotes of people who lived in certain houses. Our group was three adults and three children, including a stroller. The streets of New Orleans are not great for a stroller, but our guide found paths with ramps so we could travel more easily. The adults found the tour fascinating, but the kids (age 12, 10, 5) were bored. The tour is appropriate for children; it just did not hold their interest. The pace was easy to keep up with. Bring water but don't drink too much, since there is only the one bathroom stop on the tour. Wear comfortable shoes. The tour takes about 2 hours.
